True but no Jazz team has had a coach as inept as Corbin. Before anyone freaks out on me just think about the 3 seasons that he has been in charge. Not a lot of positives have come from him. Can he do better? Of course, in fact, it can only get better. Will he be better? I seriously doubt it.

Corbin in the perfect tank.

This definately the worst case scenario but even if that happens its not too bad.

That would mean that with the worst bench in the nba, we almost made the playoffs in a loaded western conference (so our core 5 must be really good)
And we still have 2 picks in an amazing draft + lots o money to spend on a quality free agent next year.

Even that scenario is pretty good.

I disagree..... it would mean burks, burke, fav, kanter, god were all pretty damn good..... which is not a bad thing in my opinion.

Plus the draft picks and free agency cash

Pretty much this.

Only bad scenario possible would be for the jazz to suck real bad (like bottom five in the league) and then get screwed in the lottery with the 14th pick.

There is no way that happens. The worst case in the scenario you used is the Jazz finish the 5th worst and get jumped by three teams and end up with the 8th pick.

I'm not a TC fan, but you also have to look at his roster in those three years. I think those teams ended with records pretty close to what you would expect given the players.

Let's do that, shall we?

Jefferson- Defensive liability but top 2 offensive center in the league. If he played on a winning team then he would have been a multiple time All-Star.
Millsap- Great all around player. Never an All-Star but always a consideration. Plays his best when he goes against better PF's.
Mo Williams- Former All-Star
Devin Harris- Former All-Star


I could keep going but my point has already been made.
