We are going to make the playoffs

I can see us passing Sacramento, Phoenix, Wolves and Lakers... could you guys help me out here cause im struggling to name a fifth team. Maybe Pelicans? But they also bring a good team together this off-season.

I think we just have to lower our expectations for this season and enjoy the tanking.. oops.. young guys playing. But, as much as the next guy i want this team to overachieve and surprise all the odds-makers and those nerds on ESPN.
 
I think its possible we surprise and make the playoffs but its not likely. Which kind of sucks because we will be right in no man's land again.

I hope we either make the playoffs, even as an outside 8 seed, or completely blow up and end up 3rd worst (or worse) in the league. Please no more #14 picks. Ugh.
 
I'd be ecstatic if we made the playoffs after watching the Warriors totally implode and watch the ping pong balls fall our way during the pregame of one of our playoff games.

I think the hunger, talent and aggresiveness of the C5 will surprise people.

I've said it before: we only need 8 players to make the playoffs. I think we can go 8 deep without conceeding much to any team in the NBA. I do have major doubts about our coaching, however.

I would be absolutely dumb founded if this happened. I simply don't see it. Our best 8 players don't have enough offense and if they played this many minutes you can bet that either Favors or Kanter would foul out every night. I can't see these guys winning 45 games and I would rather they won 25 than 35.

Bookies set their lines where they figure the median for betting will be, with half the bets above their line and half below. This is not the same as a prediction and is why the lines for Jazz games are different in Wendover than what are posted in Vegas; a Wendover gambler is more likely to bet on a Jazz win than is a Vegas gambler.

You may be right. However, I rest my hopes on the simple fact that no other Jazz team -- ever! -- had this much potential at all positions. It really boils down to how quickly this team can jell or if some of our diamonds-in-the-rough turn out to be no more than broken glass.
