Missing 1 piece

I think we are 1 piece away and that piece was traded to the bulls. no no not Carlos Boozer but Kyle Korver. He would bring the shooting the second team needs to be competitive and when CJ is playing crappy he could more then fill in and make it nearly impossible for teams to double on Aj.

And by Korver, you mean the guy who passed up open looks to protect his record and is a below-average defender. I agree the Jazz need to add an impact wing - unless Hayward develops - but that guy is (was) not Kyle Korver.

I think Hayward and Bell will both improve as the season wears on. CJ has improved and will be more consistent. Keeping Korver would simply have kept the logjam at the wing positions, robbing Hayward of the opportunity to improve.

so whats wrong with a logjam? a logjam of roleplayers is not a problem.

now a logjam of superstars with supertsar egos. now thats a problem

*First of all, welcome to the board. We appreciate your input.

That said, your notion of Korver being the missing piece is both incredibly pathetic and moranic. Not only have you lost any sort of credibility with this notion, the situation is now that many of the people here on the board want you banned. I'm included in this group. If there was a way to send some sort of virus to your computer that would make it implode, I would do it in a Franny Elson minute.

At this point all you can really do is be thankful that I am neither a mod or an admin of this board for your IP ban would be swift and harsh.

Sir, please, kindly, GTFO.

Below average is pretty generous. He was possibly the worst defender on the team.

My biggest concern isn't so much Hayward's development, perimeter shooting or Miles's inconsistency (which are all valid concerns). It's health. Kirilenko's missed 49 games the past 2 seasons, Miles 29 games, Bell 91 games. Can we count on those guys to all play 70 games this year? Last year we almost had too many wings in Kirilenko, Brewer, Miles, Korver, and Matthews - and that was tested with injuries to Korver and Miles to start the season and Kirilenko's calf injury to end it. One positive is Ronnie Price is probably a better SG than PG, so he could be a quality plug-in on the 2nd-unit for 5 games or so.
