CJ or AK does not make match up problems in our favor if they guard Ellis.

Oh? How would putting a lengthy wing on a primarily jump-shooting 6'2 guy be a bad matchup? How would Ellis guard AK or CJ? They could get a shot over him any time they wanted. Raja in particular would work Ellis on the defensive end.

Putting Price on Ellis would be a terrible idea, because Price isn't exactly an offensive threat, and he fouls jumpshooters far more than anybody else on the team. Just because they're the same size doesn't mean it's a good idea, but people seem to make that association almost automatically. Ellis would own Price, and Price couldn't make up for it with erratic, inefficient offense.

I'm ok with that, ellis has struggled vs. jazz in the past, 36% shooting in 12 games. let him shoot jump shots.

And sometimes the best defense is a good offense, as look as our offense continues to click we should be just fine.

Have you ever watched Ellis play? Ellis is a drive to the rim first - shoot later guy. He would make both AK and CJ look like they have cement feet. He would absolutely destroy and torch Miles. Price would be a much better match up.

And Miles or AK would do the same to Ellis is his point.
 
I am glad AK is healthy and playing well (knock on wood). He always plays really well against the Warriors. His big game gives us the win.
