That Evans - Pippen comp is the funniest thing on this site in a long time. What a giant whiffff.
You honestly think this?

I am looking at the emulating. I wan Jeremy to emulate Pippen. he needs to pass, rebound play defense, hit jumpers. not saying he will become. I just want him to become more rounded.
it wasn't a comp. the OP said who should the players emulate not become.

I dunno. Usually when I 'emulate', I would attempt to emulate one of the greats.
Seems like a weird question
I picture Favors as more of a Shawn Kemp type player. He is not as "bullish" as Moses was, and he is more athletic. If he could be a Kemp with a stronger inside game and better size (and more mentally stable) that would be something.
Yeah-- no way are Hayward and Harpring similar.
I'm looking at a pretty specific Harpring season.
And they're closer than you think in terms of what they should be capable of.
Hayward is listed at 6'8" and 215 pounds.
Harpring was listed at 6'7" and 225 pounds.
We all know that Hayward keeps trying to put on weight, bu it's hard to find a closer body comp. match than that.
The season before he ruined his legs (I understand you're a baby and don't really remember pre-injury Harp that well), Harp was honestly a borderline All-Star candidate.
He finished with a line of 17.6 ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.7 apg, a steal a game and some eye-popping shooting percentages of 51.1% on FGs and 41.3% from three (and he was taking more than 2 threes a game). I think that's a line we'd all be relatively happy to see Hayward produce.
Hayward is more talented than Harpring was, but lacks some of the components to his game that Harp possessed. I'm merely saying that the portions of Harp's game that made him useful after he lost a lot of his athleticism are things that I'd like to see Hayward add. Obviously I don't want to hear about his football background or see him miss an astounding number of layups though. I had enough of that for one lifetime.
