2013-2014 Official Lakers rally thread!

So we've all hated the Lakers for quite a while, but if there's ever been a time to pull for the Lakers it's now. For a few reasons, we could really use the Lakers making the playoffs this year. The first is that if they make the playoffs then it increases the chances of GSW being bumped out. The second is if they miss the playoffs they will surely land Wiggins.

Steve Nash left the Los Angeles Lakers' preseason loss to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night due to a left ankle injury.

Mike D'Antoni was asked about Nash missing time.

"I think this will happen off and on the whole year," D'Antoni said.

Nash missed a majority of last season with injuries.

yea I am with PKM here. Under no circumstances will I root for the Lakers. I am also a Red Sox fan and there is no way in hell that I root for NY Yankees. It is not in my DNA. Can't do it!!! I won't do it!!!!!! Mom..

Stop the presses...for once UGLI and I see eye-to-eye on a subject. And I'll take it one step further. Could you imagine how good it would be for the NBA TV rankings (more $ for NBA teams, more $ for players) if LA and one of the NY teams were to get to Jabari and Wiggins? That would be like Magic/Bird.
Or how about Jabari in Chicago after the Bulls sink without Rose? The only part of the draft lottery that is held in public is the opening of the envelopes. Count me as leery.
