What's new

Let's all freak out, because

This is where I parted ways with the board months ago.

You CAN be for building for the future, developing chemistry, gaining experience, and let the chips fall where they may (win or lose), without making losing the goal. I still don't believe that's what the Jazz are doing. But you hacks lack comprehensive thinking/strategy skills and see everything so black and white. "You're either trying to make the playoffs (pause for mouth breath) or tanking."

If we get a high draft pick, it's a bonus and one that was obviously considered, but far from the main or even major goal.

punk *** bishes.

Just about to type this. Thank you.

LOL

Love it!

Georgiou's. Absolutely gorgeous. <3 the start of the season here.

Changing rotation and seeing the mix of the rotation is cool but it's gotta be logical. Instead of using Evans in the starting line up , better to use Kanter - Favors duo against all kind of front court. Also, Kanter 's been away of basketball for 6 months and all he needs is staying on the floor as long as possible. And once Marvin comes back, he's gonna get minutes of Evans too.

This could be about a number of things. Such as:

How does Evans perform against starters?
How does Burks do in the starting lineup?
Is it better to have a wing or a big man as the 6th man?
Are Favors and Kanter better together or apart?
Is it possible that this is a one game adjustment based on who we are playing to exploit a particular matchup?

How does Evans perform against starters? WHO CARES? HE'LL NEVER START
How does Burks do in the starting lineup? TESTED BEFORE, LET HIM GET MORE COMFY WITH 6TH
Is it better to have a wing or a big man as the 6th man? KANTER AS 6TH MAN? OH GOD
Are Favors and Kanter better together or apart? TWO YEARS NOT ENOUGH TO HAVE AN IDEA?
Is it possible that this is a one game adjustment based on who we are playing to exploit a particular matchup? YEA LIKE EVANS - ALDRIDGE MATCHUP BRILLIANTLY EXPLOITED

Give me a break.

As for the burks starting part..... you say we have tested it before, but last night was the first start of his career

There will be no logic here. We will not mention Kanter played the third most minutes behind only Burke and Hayward or that he had the second most shot attempts! Nor will we mention that Biedrins played 13 minutes, Lester Hudson 12, Justin Holiday 14, Scott Machado 14, McGuire, 10 and Mike Harris 7.

Nor will there be any mention of the good signs from this game. Such as 22 assists on 29 buckets, 57% from 3 or the 10 steals.

Corbin experimented in the second game of preseason on a rebuilding year. NO EXCUSE!

I don't care about any of that. Not how many touches anyone got, not anything about toying with different defenses or trying guys at different positions... but Evans starting admittedly bugged the **** outta me.

The ONLY thing I care about this year is Ty not ****ing up the opportunity to get our young guys plenty of experience, chemistry.. and faith in the Jazz org/coaching staff. Do that and I don't care how we get there or what the W/L looks like.

Kanter played the third most minutes last night. So the experience will be there. When the season starts the scribe minutes will be gone and the C5s will rise. I understand the concern but I think it's an unlikely one.

I do find the severe reaction to last night highly telling to the meltdowns that will be on here all season.

To quote WOW "You are not prepared!"

Okay. I'll only say this once more (/broken record). I am only concerned if Ty continues to do things that are severe head scratchers. Not for my sake, but for the sake of the team and their faith in his bb IQ and how that translates, in their minds, to this team getting better.
I just don't want him doing weird things that take the air out of the building.

Now if I'm being serious, I actually assume he had a valid reason for starting Evans, explained it to the team, and they were completely supportive. I hope that is the case. I am just not a fan of Corbin, tbh.

Wait I thought we were not allowed to not be a fan of Corbin.

Let's keep analyzing this ******** to make sure it's not vagina.

Wish I could say I'm surprised at the overreaction..
