What's new

Let's all freak out, because

Talk about overeaction. Corbin needs to see how Evans is going to deal with NBA players, not fringe players looking for contracts. Starting Evans lets him see that in a clear way. News flah, this is what the pre season is for, especially in a rebuilding year. He has to know if Evans athleticism will counter the size difference of legit NBA 4s.

Let's just be BLIND under-analyzzzzzing puppets of the anTy Jazz!!!! 1!

I'm worried that in 23 minutes, Kanter only took 11 shots, 1 touch that he assisted, and probably around 3 more looks that he kicked out. That's only 23.5 touches per 36 minutes. What is Crobin thinking?

Dramatics ftw

Calm down Frank

Here is what I want to freak out about:

Burke and Kanter are going to be great in Pick and Pop situations. I am calling it right now. Kanter is gonna be a good shooter.

Favors will rebound very well, and will defend better and better, but will he ever get a post game?

Burks looks pissed off that he is not an all star yet. He might be like JR Smith one day and go all crazy whenever he gets the ball.

Hayward. He is a solid player, but I am sold on the fact that he will never be a number one option on a great team. Great all around player and attitude though. Probably All Star two or three times in his career.

Jeremy Evans should not start in any regular season game, ever. Unless he takes PEDs and all of a sudden looks like Dwight Howard.

Kanter played the third most minutes last night. So the experience will be there.
"

Yes his minutes were on par w/ Favors, but they were against backups yet again (doesn't do a lot for him at this point).

He could have started Evans over Favors, especially since he usually starts Kanter at 5.

Newsflash, he usually plays Favors at 4, not Kanter.

Newsflash, Kanter's development has already been ****ed with enough from HS, College, 1st 2 years of sporatic minutes (mostly against backups), and an injury that kept him away from badketball for 6 months

Newsflash, Kanter is now developing confidence issues from how he is playing (or being played). Check his recent interviews if you don't believe me. This is really sad considering he shot 80% in game 1 and 50% in game 2, but had 3 T/O's in game 1 (which all weren't his fault, and shouldn't be abig deal considering his recent return to the game and sporatic development).

Newsflash, Gordon is our best 2 way player, but Kanter is our best 2 way prospect.

Also

Yes, this is preseason, and yes Corbin should try new things, but Corbin should pick any player BUT Kanter to have come off the bench right now--that should be obvious. Now should be the time for your most talented, but inexperienced olayer to gain his experience as a starter.

If Ty isn't building this team around Gordon and Kanter, he is dumber than he looks.

I hate Corbin as much as or more than the next guy, but even I know Kanter's starting every game this season, health-willing

That's not the point. He needs the preseason against talents of his stature, just for the pure fact that it!s all new territory for him, and he's coming off an injury.

I'm gonna be laughing all season while the people who were calling for da tank throw hissy fits because "I don't care if they lose but I didn't expect them to play like 'that!'"

Losing is ugly. There aren't a lot of ways to get your *** kicked in style.

News flash Kanter will play against starters. It was one preseason game.

It's not really about what Kanter did individually per say. It's about how taking our only reliable post presence out of the starting lineup killed the offense.

I'm nit for taking, and PKM has said the same.

Do you need a reading comprehension courrse?

I am for developing our current talent the best way that we can, and last night was a slight against our best prospect.

Newsflash, Evans started over Kanter, and that's why we were/are upset.

Kanter is the starter all year. The second preseason game in a non contending year does not matter. Corbin needed to know what Evans could do against legit NBA talent. It has NOTHING to do with Kanter other than him not starting one meaningless preaseason game.

Personally I think he should have sat the whole game. Dont need him being young and stupid, hurting his shoulder on predeason back to back games.

Did someone say News Flash?
