Let's all freak out, because

I can't wait to do this tonight!!!!!!

I have this game streaming on firstrowsports. Unless they're mistaken. Please advise.

firstrow requires an app along with a full toolbar and home page reset now? Yikes.

Tonight's experiment reaffirmed:

1. Evans is not a starting caliber PF --even against stretch-4's.
2. Kanter should never come off bench (knew this already).
3. Hayward is our best player (knew this already).
4. Kanter and Hayward are our best offensive players (knew this already).
5. Burks is a 6th man (and does this very well).
6. The scrubs are scrubs --even Machado.
7. Burke is progressing. 3-9 (not counting halfcourt heave) and 5 ASTs is decent. Needs more FTAs.
8. Favors still sucks offensively.
9. Favors should have listened to Malone and picked a go to move.
10. Clark is having a Trey Summer League kind of performance.
11. Hayward can really get to the line like 1st year Burks did.

oh and

12. Richard Jefferson really is a geezer (who needs to rest after just 1 preseason game?).

Tell me you aren't going to be mad when Corbin "rests" Jefferson on back-to-backs during the season. I would have thought this is exactly what TankKrew would want.

I agree with those.

It was a joke. Don't be so sensitive about comments concerning your Corbin's decisions.

Anyways, I am not a part of the tank lovers. I want our young guys to develop this season, and let the chips fall where they may. This is why I've been critical of anything that could possibly inhibit the development of the young guys. If we get a good draft pick, that's a consolation prize. I would rather have the young guys exceed expectations.

I'm thinking Corbin wanted to play more of the camp invites so he let Jefferson sit out.

Agreed.

that's contradictory, I don't understand. Either you are for the tank or you aren't. Can't have it both ways.

This is where I parted ways with the board months ago.

You CAN be for building for the future, developing chemistry, gaining experience, and let the chips fall where they may (win or lose), without making losing the goal. I still don't believe that's what the Jazz are doing. But you hacks lack comprehensive thinking/strategy skills and see everything so black and white. "You're either trying to make the playoffs (pause for mouth breath) or tanking."

If we get a high draft pick, it's a bonus and one that was obviously considered, but far from the main or even major goal.

punk *** bishes.

All things considered, Favors is disappointing right now...:(
Hopefully he picks it up. I was really hoping for some type of consistency on the post but it's still wild and not synchronized.
On the good side, if Favors ends up sucking big time, we don't have to pay much to keep him back here.

Just about to type this. Thank you.

If Favors sucks offensively someone else will pay him for his defense. Some other organizations seem to be THAT stupid as of late. If he sucks offensively by the trade deadline, I say we part ways and trade him. Who knows, maybe there is a deal coming before opening night, and we don't have to overpay (doubt it).

Seriously though, Gobert could be a beast for us on the defensive end, and maybe a reinvented Beans. If Favors can't shoot, I'm not sure I see him as a plus for this team (unless we could get him for really, really cheap). Favors could net us some draft picks (and therefore even more cap space, which we'll need for Kanter/Hayward/someone else, and in the event we actually land a true star with some of our upcoming picks).

But why would we want to if he sucks?

I expect the Lakers to come shopping for Favors.
