What's new

Jazz have a game in less than an hour (UTA @ OKC)

I don't know if the highlights are posted or not but embedding one here anyway:

That running hook by Kanter is going to be nearly undefendable. He's got so many moves. I watched his last preseason game from last year, and he is definitely rusty right now particularly on defense. I also think that he is shying away from contact a bit. Hence, his rebounding is way down and he is settling for outside stuff. He will come along though as he starts 82 games with big minutes.

When i think he doesn't play basketball for 6 months, he play really but really well, no doubt best player in the team.

Trade everybody, make a duo of jabari parker and enes kanter.

dominance.

I thought Clark looked better as the game went on. He had a finish over Ibaka on a fast break and he was out and running.

He finally started boxing out properly toward the end of the game yesterday. Before then, he was facing the opposing player and feebly pushing them with his weakened arms. It might take a while for him to get his strength back. He's doing a much better job securing the ball and making reads this preseason, which is where he needed to improve the most. I suppose it's possible his injury changed him psychologically, or that we overestimated his strength in the past, but I'd guess he's the team's best scorer the second half of the season while also holding his own defensively and on the boards.

I agree. He is definitely holding back, he scared of something bad happening to his shoulder. Relatively, that is smart thinking. He is already the starter C/PF even if he hangs around and becomes a black hole in the preseason anyway.

His low post game still growing alongside those mid-ranges shows that he will be the offensive force of the Jazz this season.
