he is explosive as pre-injury Amare and he can do everything amare can do sans 18ft jump shoot.

he can defend. 12 m
for Favors is a bargain.


And gobert looks good. he is so big imagine if he has a body like shaq's with 7'9 wingspan.
 
Cross-over step-back fadeaway? That was Olojuwon. It was only about 2 seconds, but it was a very impressive 2 seconds. Tough shot, but if that became his go-to move...
 
Wasn't Amare's 18 footer money? That is a pretty big difference. And Amare was quicker and more explosive IMO. Though Favors is much stronger and a much better rebounder.

Correct, if we are going to compare Favors to anyone it's D12. Their body types are closer then that of Favors and Amare. Amare has never been a power player like D12. Make no mistake... Favors is a power player.
 
He has a little bit of both.
Rebounding/defense = Dwight
Shot = Not great like Amare but much better than Dwight
Strength - Closer to Dwight
Agility = Amare
Soft touch around the basket = More like Amare but actually even better in my opinion.

Favors only thing holding him back is what everyone worried about with him coming into the league......
CONSISTENCY. I think Favors is amazing but he tried really really hard 1 game. than fades away for a few games and looks like a role player.
Its like watching Ostertag with talent...... lol Yes I am joking.

I don't think Favors will ever score 25 ppg for a season.

He's using Jefferson's push shot. Maybe he learned something from Al.

And he did all that without a PG on the court. Imagine what he could do with TB3 running the show.
 
I kind of like the idea of Favors being a best on the defensive and offensive side. It will take some pressure of hayward too.

Idk if I would go that far. I've always been one of the apologists about Favors' offense, but he still hasn't proven he can do it consistently. I think 18 PPG could be a possibility in a year or two, though.
 
Quite an overreaction to one good preseason game. Softer touch than Amare...? Dude's shooting 40% in the preseason.

preseason is hilarious, every year people are warned not to read too much into anything. yet people take every game as if it is a seasons worth of evidence. it goes both ways, its either doomsday or championship parade every game. and I love it
