It Looks Like All the Non-Guaranteed Guys Are Gone

Lester Hudson was the best of them, IMO. But when we picked up Tinsley, I knew he was gone.

If I'm the Jazz I keep either McGuire or Cook just for the length. The frontcourt is just too thin IMO.
Well I was right that the Jazz should keep some front court depth, I just didn't consider Harris (at 6'6") a big.

@Lockedonsports Mike Harris makes roster, Jazz need another big - Marvin Williams and Jeremy Evans both injuried no back-up 4 on the roster. Harris is that

Not a fan of Cook, but he looks like an Allstar compared to Harris. He was worse then bad. I don't get it? Must be Corbin's new man crush.

Once Evans, Williams and Rush come back Harris will be out.

You guys do know what's wrong with tanking right? Players want to make millions of dollars, and if they play like crap they don't get that big contract. So players start playing me ball trying to get theirs while not following a set offence or defending. This creates not only a losing culture but a lot of selfish bad habits in the players that takes years to correct, if not just losing the player entirely. If you really want to tank, then get ready to lose the entire core four if not Burke as well, because they will likely not recover from this. It would end up being Wiggins and whomever we draft in the lottery for the next five seasons after the team trades away Hayward, Favors, Kanter, Burks and Burke because they don't play within the offence.

Does everybody remember that time the Durant/Westbrook Thunder were one of the worst teams in the NBA in '08-09 and it ruined them forever?

I thought maybe Harris was just hiding somewhere and they were still looking for him to deliver the news. I would have guessed Cooke or even McGuire instead. Perhaps they still look for a true PF and waive Harris later. Or perhaps they're really happy with the way Gobert is playing and feel they have enough bigs, even without Evans. And they are short a couple of wings until Williams and Rush return.

My goodness people. Can't anyone see that the rebuilding guys AND the tanking guys are both correct?

We are rebuilding. We are focusing on the youth and their development.

AND

We are tanking. We have no bench. We let Millsap walk. We didn't bring in a quality vet pg. Corbin is still the coach.

The Jazz set themselves up to play the young 'uns AND lose.

So Harris is a SF? What does he mean other big? So Biedrins got beat out by Harris? Then we should cut him too. The Jazz have both Gobert and Bierdins who can hold down the fort until Evans and Williams get back. Harris was absolutely terrible when I watched the games.

Don't cut Biedrins. See if you can turn his expiring into something via trade. If not then use the financial flexibility his contract gives when it ends this year.
