As a fan for almost 20 years now, this is the third blow up I've witnessed. In both previous cases, the Jazz responded by posting a winning record. In 2004, the Jazz won 42 games after John retired and Karl left, and a year ago, the Jazz won 45(transposed) in the first full seasons after Williams was booted out.
I don't think there's anyone on this forum who could convince me that either of those two years, the Jazz had a more talented roster than right now. Not only are we not getting Wiggins, it would be a big shock if the Jazz won fewer than 35 games. I think the chances of the Jazz playing games in May 2014 are so much higher than the chances of the Jazz getting Wiggins a month later. I have no idea why anyone thinks the Jazz will even be in the lottery next year, let alone picking top 3.
