It's called the Stutz Blackhawk. Apparently only 500-600 were made. Shape-wise, it's probably one of my favourites from the 60s-70s American era. Lots of them were hand-made in Italy before being shipped over apparently.

Which cars do you guys enjoy? Doesn't have to be cars that you own, necessarily.

Any reason behind choosing the Vette and the Mustang? I find that lotsa people who love domestic cars from the 50s-70s had parents that used to own them, and what not.

That stang is da bomb.. but the Vette, for my tastes pre-dates the better versions beginning in '63... and especially '67.

Regarding the Mustang. I did indeed grow up riding around in a '65. My dad kept it until I was about 12. I later bought a '65 in '95 and own that same car to this day.

Why the '68 GT500 Shelby? Because if you're going to get the ultimate pony there aren't many out there that can compare.

i drove it from the lot to my bay. they were a couple hundred G's deep and didn't trust me for some reason.

Definitely a nice car.

Personally, I'm really into some of the European cars of that era-- i enjoy the American cars too (definitely more-so than current American cars, at least), but there were some truly brilliant european cars made back then:

Aston Martin DB4 Series II (1960)

Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (1967)

So. Much. Soul.

I know the Phillippine's just got hit with one, prayers to them and all, but the 1992-93 GMC Typhoon.

And the 1991-1997 Dodge Stealth R/T TT.

I'm going to own one of these again someday. Smooth, smooth ride, shotgun windows, and a trunk so big you could lay in it sideways or long. The 428 had about 425 hp stock, and easily 450 adding nothing more than an Edlebrock 750. You ever spun tires on a stock 4051 lb car? Throw a roots on this bitch and it's probably a sub-12 second car with no suspension, exhaust, nothin.

That thing looks awful tbh.

Do they come in colors other than baby squirt yellow?

Funnest car I ever owned, hands down. More fun than my vette, even more fun than my Prius if you can imagine that! Rebuilt it during high school, drove it for 5 glorious years pre- and post-mission. Loved it. Sold it for a family car (1991 Ford Escort), and have regretted selling it ever since. Now I will spend the weekend going through old pictures to try to find a pic of mine. It was redder than this, a deep blood red.
