Memo to players complaining about minutes: Shut Your Mouth!

Archie has been on a non-stop Deron-slanderin binge lately. I think he likes Deron, but does it for he attention, dunno.

Accordin to Numba, there, Deron, when asked about playin too many minutes merely said:

“Nah. But it would have been cool to get a couple minutes (rest). My shots looked good. But we’ve got to do a better job of, leading up to the fourth quarter, having a better game. A couple minutes would have been cool. But I’m not going to blame it on that.”

Archie turns this into a complaint against Sloan, when he clearly blames himself. Go figure, eh?

I think someone is catching on to me. Controversy is fuel to my fire. lol

BTW, I love Deron.

Your thread title makes it sound like Mehmet Okur is telling players to "shut up" about their minutes LOL!!

Exactly what I thought... haha

Back to the topic, I think the expectation after Earl Watson was signed was that Deron will be able to rest more during the game without any drop off. Not sure what happened in practices that Watson and Price don't get to play more and let Deron rest more. Maybe it is a message from Deron to Sloan that those guys need time to play. Maybe it's a message to Watson and Price that they need to step up (which during this road trip, both guys contributed, just in different games).. I have no problem about that. It will definitely hurt the team if they need Deron to play 40+ minutes every night.

I just found that weird that LeBron said that after a LOSS... in Deron's case, he is just saying that it's no good if the team needs him to play that much in order to win all these basketball games. In LeBron's case, if I were him, I would have said the coach should play him MORE minutes so that we can win the game. So the team loses, and he wants to play less to help the team?? Doesn't make any sense to me.

I think it's funny how worked up people get over innocent comments that players make. Every comment I've read about players talking about their minutes has been something to the effect of "Yeah, it's pretty tiring playing so many minutes, but oh well". Yeah, something really worth ******** your pants over there. Somebody mentioning that things haven't been perfectly ideal, let's crucify them now before they say something even more damning, like they'd rather have 70 degree, sunny weather every day.

You've obviously never played organized sports before. LeBron's comments are pretty much the beginning of cancer amongst players and their coach. He's questioning Eric and publicly calling him out. This type of stuff destroys teams whether the media reports it or not. Look at the Vikings this year.

That's actually a quote from the NBA's new golden boy, Kevin Durant. There's nothing official that Deron has said that can be quoted so far as I know.

LeBron is being a bitch, no doubt. You don't blame the coach after you lose a game. Bad form.
