What's new

NFL Discussion Thread - 2013

Never have seen it before, but I haven't seen a lot of close games where an onside was attempted lately either. What's the advantage?

When the Oregon guy did it the ball came rolling and hopping at the receiving team really weird. Just hard to catch.

Broncos had three tough games in a row and came out 2-1. Damn close to 3-0 (and 0-3 if that is how you want to see it).

I am very happy with the win as it gives Denver a 2 game lead (tie breaker) on Kansas City and increases the chance of a first round bye. That will be huge for the Broncos to rest up. I see it coming down to Peyton v. Brady for the right to go to the superbowl. Homefield is huge there.

Also KC and Indy are dark horses.

Indy peaked early. I don't see them as a threat.

Losing Reggie Wayne has hurt them a lot - guy's a natural born leader.

And Pep Hamilton has been a disappointment as an NFL OC - he needs to go back to Stanford.

Damn I hate Pep, and for that matter most of the coaching staff.

I have shifted my rooting from the Rams to anyone playing Washington. If they lose out, which is possible, the Rams get a top 2 pick. This beats The Tank!
