Has the light bulb finally turned on for Corbin?

JLIII had another DNP for the second straight night...and whaddya know, we're 2-0. I thought for sure Corbin was going to pull another head scratching move and play JLIII 30 minutes vs. Houston. Over that past week or so, Corbin is finally understanding the concept of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" or "keeping going to the well until it's dry". Kudos to Corbin. If this isn't just an abberation, then I think our tank campaign is on it's way to failure.

I've loved Corbin's rotations the last two games. It's bizarre for me to say the least. I really loved that he actually stayed with Gordo and Burke when they were playing well in the 1st. Even though it didn't pay a ton of dividends I just like the philosophy.

if a player is hot, good coaches substitute them immediately after they reached their peak (thereby continue or try to increase that rhythm by fresh legs) and doesn't wait until they start to make mistakes to justify the reason for the substitute

i didn't saw the game, but i know that corbin doesn't do this, it's not enough to keep a hot player on the floor

What if it is that kanter had another game of less than 15 minutes playing time for the second straight night, and whaddya know we're 2-0. In fact, in 3 of our 4 wins kanter has played < 15 minutes. If it ain't broke should Corbin not fix it and keep kanter on the end of The bench?

Has nothing to do with a light bulb. He finally has a PG that he can count on. Changes everything - not only rotation with that one position.

There was one real good move yesterday- after the abysmal showing by the bench in the second quarter, Corbin decided to make sure Hayward and/or Burke were on the floor the entire second half.

I don't know what to do with all this Corbin love fest. I agree that Ty did a good job last night.

To me a Coach's job is not screw it up before and during the game. If a player is not getting it done, then they need to be benched for guys that are.

It helps a lot to have Burke, Burks, Hayward and Favors all playing very well last night. Marvin even contributed some big plays down the stretch. If some of these guys make a few less plays and we lose, then we would be blaming Corbin. But he would have done his job to give our best players a chance.

BTW I hope Kanter starts to take defensive prep more seriously. If you aren't physically dominate, then you have to play smarter.

They looked tired to me from their massive first quarter effort. Plenty of time for heroics later in the game.

Phil Jackson needed superstars. Maybe Corbin needs a good PG.

Yup, Ty has certainly caught up to Phil, gonna pass him with the next win. Corbin should start working on his HOF induction speech. Cuz beating a mid-level team at home in December is so meaningful.
