Measurements are measurements. It doesn't matter where they're done. This is nothing more than an ad hominem fallacy.
I don't know how you can watch a highlight mix of him and not say this kid is an unbelievable athlete. If you feel you haven't seen it from him yet, then maybe at least let him finish his college career before making that judgement? He's only played in a handful of games.
P.S. You're saying my belief that the reports about Wiggins' vertical being accurate is on par with someone believing in Santa Claus? lolok

camera angle is your best friend. none of them shows that he has 44 inch vert. maybe he isn't trying. show me 1 legit video where his head is legitimately above the rim. because like i said his head being near the rim means his vert is around 38 ish. can he squeeze extra 6 inch? maybe. but history says 44 inch is very very rare.
maybe wiggins is somewhere between jeff green and bron. that's still great athleticism. but not elite to me. maybe my definition of elite is different than yours. people may call john wall an elite athlete, but i don't. 44 vert with no body control is no elite athlete. 38 inch vert with superb body control on the other hand can be an elite athlete. most star athletes in NBA are explosive. but there are rare dudes who can rewrite the word 'explosive' - like young bron.
bottom line, i'm not crowining wiggins to be next bron yet. i'll dissect his game bit more and go through player by player pros and cons when draft time comes.

Wiggins is an elite athlete. I don't see how you can question that. But I don't think he's in the conversation for best EVER. He's way too young for that.
But he's not THAT fast. You see a lot of players who are just as fast, if not faster. I don't want you to take it as "he's not a great athlete". He is. But his athleticism got some holes, and we don't know how these holes will fill as he gets more muscle mass. Maybe he'll end up as one of the top athletes ever, but we can't say that yet.

I'll admit the camera angle makes it difficult to judge how much of his head is above the rim right there, but you get the point. And you can't just go by whether his head is above the rim. There are other factors to consider such as how far away from the hoop he's taking off. You can't watch a guy dunk and be like, "his head isn't above the rim!" Well, no **** bro, he took off from the FT line.
Take a look at how far away he has the ball away from the rim right here. It's unreal.
When I watch LeBron from high school, he doesn't seem any more explosive to me than Wiggins.

and to say wiggins is near bron's level in athleticism is like saying patrick peterson is equal to bo jackson. bron is doing that with 40 pounds more body weight. bron is a different animal.

Wiggins has a ways to go if he wants to be the real deal. So did Kobe, though but Bryant had a natural born instinct to him. Wiggins looks like hes got to develop an instinct. Not easy to do.
