I think with Roy out, the center of attention should be Andre Miller and Alridge. What I mean by containing, putting pressure on Alridge is certainly not double-teaming him every position -I'm sick of watching the Jazz ,no matter what take pride in defending the paint even if it costs them open threes for opponents.
I think Alridge is a great shooter, solid post player who can get any shot he wants over a defender smaller than him. He has had tough time defending quicker players. I would create a cross-matchup by defending Alridge with Jefferson, and using Millsap against Alridge on offensive end. Andre Miller is a veteran and I hope Deron does not get frustrated with Miller's taking advantage of every little mistake he does or trying to get a call in EVERY position.
Marcus Camby will have a rebounding party for sure, unless BigAl prıves to be big downlow and stop watching others blow by him. After watching the Jazz give up so many open threes to league leader in 3pt %, Spurs, I have no doubts in my mind that the same will happen tonight. Wes, Batum, Rudy are all streaky shooters. Hope I will be proven wrong on this one.
