Early Finals Prediction

...I don't think the Heat can get past the Pacers again this year. At least I hope not! Pulling for the Spurs to win it all, but the Thunder winning wouldn't hurt my feelings....as long as they can finish off the Heat if they meet in the Finals!

Yeah, I saw him play a few minutes today. He had a two handed slam through traffic and a nice jump hook. And that was just in the few minutes that I watched.

Of course, this is Oden we're talking about......

They should rest him til the playoffs. He could make a big dif for that team. They so small

I'd love the Pacers to win. Could turn some front office heads around when a defense first, grind it out, play hard and smart all night, no antics team is a winner. You have 30 teams like the Pacers, you may have some 82-79 wins more, but you don't have 130-115 lackluster attitude games any longer. Because every win counts. Increased physicality could also accelerate rule changes like shortened season and 40 min games.
(I for instance would like a 66 game season - 4 against each division rival and 2 against every other team) Would increase the experience for the viewer.

They need to be cautious, but they also need to bring him along. It's been years since he's had in-experience. You can't just throw a guy like that into a playoff series. I'm hoping he starts getting 15-20 minutes a game by March.

If Lance Stephenson and Big Roy step up to the challenge, Miami simply will not win.

They have a great chance (better than anyone IMO) of taking down the Heat. But if Wade is healthy.....I just don't see it.

You're also the biggest Lebron homer on this board, so expect that ;)

I think Lebron is getting more comfortable with his role now and he will be even better this time around now that he has all that experience under his belt. Before he had that awkwardness of who's team was it and who was the leader and closer. He has clearly passed Wade in that Dept now. I can see him putting petal to the metal this time around and not let it come down to the last shot.

Lebron is the favorite to win it all until further notice. Even as good as Durant is playing, I dont think it matters much. We have seen him shut down Durant in the finals before. He'll shut down George or Lance too.
