Don't act like you don't try to use your family linkage as a way to contact him, and get shutdown, every day.
In all honesty, I really can't wait for him to fade into even more obscurity.
I've been asked about my relationship to Mitt at least four times a week for something like six years running. After answering the same question 1,000+ times I would truly prefer to never have it mentioned again.
Also, the family christmas card was hilarious, although mostly because of the bizarre color matching of the clothing. It doesn't match the Huntsman Christmas card though. That thing requires a jeweler's loupe to make everyone out.

I had a light afternoon and the Mitt documentary was on at my family's house, so I watched it (well all but 8 minutes of it, and I think we all know how it ends).
It's a bizarre little movie because it's entirely personal and completely contextless. That said, Mitt comes across as genuinely humble throughout this film. Although I find the concept of filming the family prayers somewhat bizarre, I honestly enjoyed it.
The most astonishing part is that the campaign people let this guy film this much, although I guess it's not surprising that he appears to have not been let in on the strategy parts of the campaign at all.

The item about the Christmas card was a response to Stoked's MSNBC post two above mine.
And the Hunstman Sr. card goes to TONS of people in Utah. I assume that many here have seen it. It comes with a numbered key to name everyone in the card that goes up to something like 80. It's like a Whitman's sampler box that's three layers deep.

Mitt wasn't very happy that those were in the film. He said he knew that he was in the room but was unaware he was filming. There are a couple of other scenes that Mitt also wish were left out.
I served in Mitt's ward when he was governor of Massachusetts. He had us over for dinner and he really was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He came across very genuine.
To be honest, without the conversations with his wife there wouldn't be much of a movie.
I suspect the people that are going to enjoy this most down the line will be Mitt's kids/grandkids/great grandkids. I just spent a great deal of time going through my late grandmother's old papers in her office and was moved to tears by some old essays she wrote (one of which was about being a relative of Heber J. Grant that was brutally funny) because they reminded me very strongly of who she was as a human being. In 15-20 years when Mitt is old and frail I'd bet his descendants have overwhelming emotional reactions to seeing this home movie of Mitt for the same reason, and that's a power that will grow with each passing year. Those portions Mitt isn't happy with will be, for them, among the best parts.
