His numbers are nearly identical to his 2010-11 season numbers.. The biggest difference is the conference in which he plays. He had so much more competition in the west at the 4 spot that those numbers weren't enough until he switched to the east.

I haven't watched the Hawks this year, but Millsap was becoming increasingly frustrated in the way he was used by Corbin -- who is one of the worst coaches in the NBA without a doubt. You could see how his attitude deteriorated his last two years with the Jazz. Look at DeMarre -- he went from a guy getting DNPs to a starter on a playoff team. Corbin is SOOO bad. We've kept him all because of this loyalty crap of the Millers. I doubt very much though that Larry would've stood for the crap that Corbin is dishing out on a daily basis.

I actually remember dutch having millsaps back at all times..... he loved millsap
Also kanter played the 5 spot and millsap the 4 last year
 
Jefferson deserved to be an All Star in the East this season, along with Millsap. Bobcats are on the verge of a playoff bid and Jefferson's numbers make him a Top 3 center in the East.
 
Millsap had a few seasons in Utah when he could have been an all-star but slumped with a month to go and played himself out of contention. I do agree his attitude was terrible under Corbin and his performance suffered as a result. But at PF in the WC, Millsap had virtually no chance of ever getting to the all-star game. In the EC there is less competition for him.
 
You guys really need to stop using how players and teams are doing in the East as a basis for your arguments. The East sucks. Millsap is an all-star because he plays in the East. The Hawks are a playoff team because they play in the East. There are only four teams with winning records in the East. The East sucks.
