Burks All Starwhen he leaves jazz.

Jefferson deserved to be an All Star in the East this season, along with Millsap. Bobcats are on the verge of a playoff bid and Jefferson's numbers make him a Top 3 center in the East.

Millsap had a few seasons in Utah when he could have been an all-star but slumped with a month to go and played himself out of contention. I do agree his attitude was terrible under Corbin and his performance suffered as a result. But at PF in the WC, Millsap had virtually no chance of ever getting to the all-star game. In the EC there is less competition for him.

You guys really need to stop using how players and teams are doing in the East as a basis for your arguments. The East sucks. Millsap is an all-star because he plays in the East. The Hawks are a playoff team because they play in the East. There are only four teams with winning records in the East. The East sucks.

So basically........... The thread title should be "Burks All Starwhen he leaves jazz for eastern conference team?"

Love, Griffin, Dirk. Would Millsap EVER get in over those three?

Look at the WC reserves vs the EC.
WC: Harden, Paul, Lillard, Aldridge, Howard, Nowitzki, Duncan,
EC: Wall, Stephenson, Hibbert, DeRozan, Noah, Bosh, Millsap

Jazz would only be 4 games out of the 8th seed in the playoffs in the EC.

Actually Millsap didn't sign his extension!!

That's true, but the Jazz were only offering him something like 8 mill/year then, weren't they?

Anyway, my point was that Corbin wasn't at all the reason why Millsap didn't re-sign. The Jazz FO was the reason.

Just a million under what he got but a longer contract!!!

Yes, but when he turned it down there were reasons to believe that he might be offered a bigger contract at the end of the season, potentially MUCH bigger (or so he/his agent hoped). But then at the end of the season, the Jazz didn't even offer him anything. So my point remains--the Jazz FO are the reason why Millsap wasn't re-signed. Not Corbin.
