Game Thread: Jazz vs. $210 Million Payroll known as the Nets

As for dong stuff on the court that helps everyone else.......... burks with 3 assists.... jeffy with 1. Burks with 6 rebounds........ jeffy with 2. Burks 100% from 3..... jeffy 75%
In basically the same minutes

Neither are great defenders but I think burks is even a bit better at defense than jeffy, is a better rebounder, better passer, better ball handler, better slasher, better at getting to the line, better finisher, better in transition, has more potential, will be around for longer.

Jefferson is the better 3 point shooter though so they should get equal minutes

Jefferson, josh howard, randy foye, cj miles, raja bell > burks

To add to this, I get that floor spacing is important but when your starting lineup consists of marvin (floor spacer), jeffy (floor spacer), Hayward (floor spacer), trey (floor spacer) and favors (no threat and hardly used on offense) isn't it time to start a guy that can take advantage of that floor spacing? (alec burks)

Yeah, Burks even got taken to town a couple times down low by Livingston.

I remember him doing quite well against Livingston.... One play in particular Livingston tried to post burks up and burks played great defense and randy was called for travelling.

Livingston played 40 minutes and was 3-7 btw

Honestly think a lot of that was Corbin being scared of Hayward/Burks having to guard JJ. Both players are too weak to play JJ in the post.

Which is the weirdest **** about the Nets. They have a terrible, terrible offense. Honestly the worst in the NBA from a coaching standpoint, but they have big guards who can post up, so they create problems.

thta might explain it this game.

but what about all the other games.

intangibles DOE!

because of jeffies intangibles he helps the youth to develop.

burks has non intangibles all those other players are oozing with magical "intangibles" and "mythical vet power".

butks needs to get one or both of those. untill then he should sit his *** on the bench

I see Gobert becoming Aşık easily, if properly trained and coached. The skillset is right there. Just follow the Bulls' methods and his personal schedule which included body building for that.

This was how Aşık looked like when he was around Rudy Gobert's age:

And the followers all know his physical dominance now.

Even he should strengthen the lower body because he shows lack of stamina in long playing time, but I think this is a common thing in long *** players and could be overcomed with proper training at early ages.

Jason Kidd is an awful coach. There offensive sets were mostly one-on-one moves. They have some offensive fire power if their players were used right.

I see Gobert becoming Aşık...

Gobert is tall... what else does he do out there? He can't catch or even hold the ball. He never knows where to be on either end of the court. He did manage to make one layup last night, but that was soon after he somehow airballed his previous try within one foot of the basket. He can't reliably finish or defend. He does try hard, I guess.

I don't get it. What is Fesenko doing now? Can we get him back?
