NBA strikes deal with LDS Church for Jabari Parker

So lets say Parker gets 100mil deal at some point, 40% for taxes and 10% for Mormon church? I hope he does not have big family to feed.

That 40% is just Federal. Add in State, sales taxes, property taxes, inflation, all the nickel and dime taxes, etc. He'll be in that 60% tax range no problem. He'll need to be on food stamps by the time the government is done with him....except he won't have to because he'll have an Emergency Essentials endorsment and the Bishop's storehouse to rely on for his family's food security.

Me too. They'd be absolutely destitute with the pittance left over.

I once read article about Boozer's family. Nobody works there. He supports his ugly like *** sisters, brother and parents. He made it in life so it "entitles" his young perfectly healthy and capable siblings to not work. No wonder he needed that raise so badly.

I think Jabari to Philadelphia makes perfect sense. I mean, LDS folks call each other "Brother" and "Sister" and Philadelphis IS the city of brotherly love.

How awesome would it be to be his companion?
