What's new

Game Of Thrones

I knew it was coming because I've read the books, but I didn't think they'd kill Joffrey until around episode 4. With eight episodes still to go, seems like they'll really have to draw out Tyrion's trial.

Didn't like this episode as well, but that's probably because they focused on less interesting character groups. This episode, for instance, had both Bran and Reek segments which had been mercifully absent from episode 1 (I'd honestly be happy if we didn't see either of these groups again for the rest of the season). Whereas the first episode had Hound/Arya and Wall segments that were sadly missing missing from this one.

Holy ****!

Btw, people who have read the books, STFU & GTFO

Awesome that one of my favorite bands, Sigur Ros, made an appearance singing Rains of Castamere.

FWIW, I'm not really sure what all the crying about spoilers is about here. Are you all referring to people talking about what happened at the end of this most recent episode? Because I'm not sure why discussing material that's already aired should be off-limits. And the only other even vaguely spoilery thing I said was regarding Tyrion's trial... but again, I never said whether he was guilty or not, and I don't think it's much of a spoiler that there will be a trial. It was all over the trailers.

Mine was a bit of self-sarcasm because I of course know I'm gonna get spoiled coming in here not watching and still reading.

This is the nature of spoilers, you know. You die to read them. But as soon as you learn the astonishing truth, you feel hatred to the one who wrote it for spoiling your enthusiasm. The real hypocrite is the reader.

No, it's not like you gave away that he is found guilty and while awaiting execution, Jamie and Breanne bust him out and smuggle him to the desert with Prince Oberyn's help. That would totally mess things up if you said that.

Oh, wait. Dammit.

Edit: Spoiler Alert

All of the above was a joke.

South Park dropped the Joffrey spoiler in their three part Black Friday shows last fall. I warned my co-worker not to watch (she doesn't read the books) but she said she had to know how the South Park stuff ended and didn't think the spoiler would be that big. The next day, she told me that she was totally wrong and wished she had avoided the spoiler.

You kind of have to be tarded to not know Joffrey (however the **** you spell his dumbass name) was going to die. The dude was weak and a huge dick to everyone, eventually someone was going to get tired of his **** and kill him.
