I could not agree more... Sir Deniz Lindsey has spoken...

"The concern on Derek Favors and Enes Kanter playing together is non-sense"

I could not agree more, It´s nothing more than non-sense...

Right now on 1280 DL is explaining how +- is misinterpretted with young players. Love it. Locke is such a douche. Can't believe how dick locke was to enes. Good for DL.

So Jazz fanz let's review:

Last summer DL took over for KOC and started fully running the show.

He worked magic on draft night and picked up Burke for the Jazz.

Then he worked some more magic and managed to scope up Gobert as well.

Then he went about systematically ensuring a Jazz tank. He signed players like Lucas, Clark and Thomas all season long.

But that was not enough for him. He went out and worked a deal with Denver and GSTankers that landed us a 1st rounder this year, a 1st rounder in 2017 and 2-3 2nd rounders in the coming years. All for expiring contracts that will allow Utah room to maneuver in free agency.

Put Corbin on notice that this year he will be judged not on how many games he wins or losses but how he gets the Core to develop. Especially on D. We were the leagues worst D team at points. Rumors are that a "decision" on Corbin could be made as early as this weekend.

Now today. He is saying they will free up Enes to spread the floor, that Kanter and Favors can work together, that Hayward needs to refocus and have fun, that +/- is unfair to young players...all things trumpeted here over and over.

So on top of all his actions he is now, once again, showing he gets it, is aggressive and in it to build this team to a title.

So Jazzfanz, do you have faith in DL now?

I sure as hell do.

Wait, DL said Kanter will shoot 3's next year?

I built up a TON of faith in him last summer.

But I'll wait till Corbin is no longer with us before sucking DL's dick.

He's not going to devalue players on the roster by saying they suck or can't play together. Non-story.

Lindsey probably has enough faith in Favors' improved interior passing and scoring to make the two big lineup a remote possibility.

Perhaps facts might help here. First, Locke has never been tied to the plus minus stuff as he has a far more complex system for analyzing effectiveness - which candidly is much better than a riduculous + -. DL simply made the point that some people rely on it too much which any real fan understands. Second, Locke was factually spot on earlier in the year when he as well as others all realized the obvious fact that Kanter and Favors did not play well together. And Locke openly acknowledged that had changed toward the end of the year. So he and DL were agreeing. Go ahead and bag on Locke if it floats your boat but you guys are making stuff up.

Yes locke has his silly locke offensive rating, but you're wrong in saying he doesn't reference it. He talks about it every other morning on tip off, and most postcasts.

Locke just interviewd Kanter 20 mins before the DL interview and told him he doesn't help the team win, and how the stats show it, etc. not making stuff up. Maybe I just listen more.
