The refs in this game were really bad. This and the last Heat game were very frustrating to watch as they seem to get every god damn call and Jazz player's (CJ, Millsap and Deron on plays I remember) were obviously hacked and not call then 10 seconds later the Jazz get foul calls for less contact and less influence on the play or shot. The Heat are the new Lakers. Get every damn call and whine with no "T"S everytime they call anything on them. Labron whining after body check on Bell was a perfect example of what the rule is supposed to be and they called nothing.

All that said the refs did not cost the Jazz this game. Jefferson's defense on Ilgauskas, outside shooting, Deron's not playing well and Sloan's terrible substitution patterns cost this team the game.

This game was lost by sloppy play in the 4th quarter. None of the things I complained about happened in the 4th quarter. Or at least very few of them.

The refs in the NBA effect the games way too much IMO. I think they are the worst officials in the world. But when your team does all of the things wrong that I put in the bottom paragraph it's hard to say the officials cost the team the game.

the Jazz would have been ahead going into the 4th, at which point they would have been playing better, with more confidence, better rested, and probably would have won, or at least made it a very close game.

Joey's farely consistent in that he'll constantly favors the road team (see Game 2 of the '98 NBA Finals or Game 3 last year vs. the Lakers). He also ref'd Game 1 against Denver last year and I felt made a substantial amount of calls in the Jazz's favor.

The officials you don't want to see as a Jazz fan are:
1. Bob Delaney
2. Steve Javie
3. Courtney Kirkland
4. Dick Bavetta
