What's new

Russell Westbrook and the Utah Jazz

This is an interesting idea. I think they have to go out in the 1st or 2nd round before legitimately considering moving one of their franchise cornerstones.

No thats not too much. Jazz would do that in a heartbeat.

i dont think okc would though. They would probably laugh at us.

I think we would have to give up our own pick instead of the GS one.

I still would probably do it.

I think that package is better than what they got for Harden.

Westbrook COULD be on the verge of superstardom.

If he gets his head right and his jumper gets a little better dude will be unstoppable

Westbrook's shot has gotten better slowly but surely. The biggest problem is that his decision-making hasn't improved at all. Sounds like a potential job for John Stockton.

Still doe

Who's the best player they got for Harden? Trey and Kanter will both turn out to be way better than anyone they got in the Houston deal.

Ya and they got fleeced in the houston deal.

I bet they have learned.
Plus harden was coming off the bench and was more unknown imo.

I think they know westbrook has superstar potential and superstar type value

Fair enough.

I think they have to lose in the 1st round for this to becomes realistic at all anyway.

Maybe if they lose in the 1st round they'll fire their coach and hire Corbin? Then he'd push for including Marv and Jeffy to sweeten the deal.

I dont think its ever gonna be realistic regardless.

Gotta hit a homerun in the draft imo.

Like lazy said..... if we can get a star #1 scoring option like melo, harden, westbrook, etc etc then we gotta do it but i think we wont be able to get that guy via trade or free agency.

Gotta kill it in this draft..... or hope burks becomes da man ;-)

I wouldn't give them our pick this year (which would have to be the actual player, correct? This would be after the draft, no?). But we have several assets including our next years pick. There are a lot of options out there and I don't think it's too far of a reach to think OKC would consider it if things don't work out great in these playoffs for them.

RW wants to have his own team. Welcome home.
