Like lazy said..... if we can get a star #1 scoring option like melo, harden, westbrook, etc etc then we gotta do it but i think we wont be able to get that guy via trade or free agency.

Yeah, but if we get the 5th pick, I think we'll push for a deal like this.
 
Anybody who would say no to Westbrook on this team…man, I don't know what to say.

He's a top 10 talent, top 15 at worst.

We could probably use a guy like that.

Nobody is saying "No" to him you numb nut, it's what you have to give up to get him and whether or not his knee would hold up.



If we're giving up Burke, Kanter and a pick, we're giving up half of our Core 6 to get him, so he better be productive for a long time.
 
I wouldn't trade for Westbrook or Melo. Particularly Melo. Hell. To. The. No.

Whatever happened to #loveyourneighbor?

If you want to be a decent team, then yeah, we could stay with where we're at. If we want to be a great team, then you have to take a gamble every now and then.

A talent like Westbrook would be worth the gamble.
 
I don't know. First of all, I don't like Westbrook's face. Also, if Westbrook was 6'6", he'd be the best SG in the league. I don't like him as a point guard that I give a max too, tho. I'm just not a huge huge fan of his game. I really don't care for athleticism as much as some others do-- as long as you can defend well, and you can finish somewhat-consistently through contact, I don't need my franchise player to be a dunking-maniac.
