2014 NBA Playoffs: 2nd Round

Yeah, I wanna root for the Clippers and then I remember that everyone in that crowd is just a ****ing Lakers fan bandwagoning until the Lakers are good again.

**** those dudz

I like the Clippers despite all that. The other thing I hate is when people think you are rooting for their players just because of the whole Sterling thing. But I like the Thunder slightly more atm. Mostly because of all the hate people have for Westbrook, even though he's a beast.

westbrook is a beast, but he just isn't a good compliment player to KD because he is too alpha. when things go right, they are fine. but when things go wrong it's KD vs. westbrook all over again. and i see them losing to spurs or Heat. they just lack synergy IMO. swap westbrook and cp3. i think that would actually work out better.

hopefully i'm wrong because i would be so happy for them if they can overcome miami together.

It's both for me.

Dude..... the Spurs can't beat the Thunder

This just in, when things go right, they are good.

When things go wrong, they aren't as good.

What the freak just happened to my Wizards and Clipps? They both took dumps in game 3.

The wizards fell right into the pacers trap by playing slow and boring.
The clipps? C'mon! Pound it inside. Foul OKC's frontline out! You can't let stupid Ibaka score 20.

I really don't want to see another OKC vs Miami final. I've seen that movie before and it sucked. This time OKC is even without harden, so it'll be worse.

Yeah, but Miami isn't as good as they were then either. They're more experienced obviously, but I do think they're a tad worn out.

I still think Miami would win, but I think it would take them more games than it did the last time.

I disagree, here's why:

Wade is healthier than before. Yes he's older. But he doesn't look broken like he has the past few years. Limited in minutes? Sure. So then they can unleash him when they need to.

Ray Allen still can shoot. Cole, Chalmers, and Birdman are fine. And Lebron knows how to win.

I think a Miami OKC final would be over in 4-5. OKC just doesn't have strengths that can puncture miami's weaknesses. Such as post defense. Miami is vulnerable to a big man. Ibaka is a jump shooter and Perkadamcollison suck.

I think if the Clippers ever got smart and used John Paul and Karl Griffin the way they're supposed to and not just let the role players chuck away they could win. Seriously, if Malone in his prime faced: Bosh and Birdman, what would he average? 40 and 10? 50 and 15? Bosh would be obliterated within 5 mins of the game. They'd have to use Udonis, Oden, and Bron on mailman. He would injure Oden, shoot over udonis, and mess up Lebron's headband.

I just don't understand why the clipps are letting Crawford and co cast away. Blake should be given the ball on the block every single time down the court.

The spurs? Another 6-7 game tossup.

You gotta have a big to beat Miami. Indy has hibbert/west. Wash has nene/Gortat. Spurs have Duncan. Clipps got griffin/Jordan. And the thunder have a 7 foot SG and a bunch of garbage d league players.

Yeah, I agree with all that. I think OKC's celling is to go 6 games with Miami.

Interesting way of looking at things...

Who would you rather have? Gobert or OKC's centers (Perkins, Collison, and Adams)?

I'd rather have Gobert.

The thunder literally play 4 on 5 most of the game. Sometimes 3 on 5 because Tabo mostly concentrates on defense.

For the life of me I don't know why they haven't addressed their frontline. Perkins and co are barely NBA players. Especially Perkins, who's just hellishly turrible out there. I, for the life of me, can't think of a less talented and skilled big man out there. At least ostertag was tall and had an insane wingspan.

Can anyone think or a worse player in the league? Does Mad Dog Madsen still play? Michael Olwakandi? Does Kwame Brown or Eddie Curry still play?

ah, the shortsightedness of cyrone t.

synergy is important in life. and it's important in the basketball court. and history says having 2 alpha dog is dangerous.
just look at kobe & shaq's nasty divorce. divorce happened even after 3 rings together.

KD & westbrook can work it out. winning cures it all. but if they don't win, then it's a ticking time bomb.

You make some good points here. However, keep in mind that Wade is as fragile as "fine china"....and could go down at anytime!

Ray Allen still can shoot. Cole, Chalmers, and Birdman are fine. And Lebron knows how to win.

No question that Ray Allen can still shoot! In fact, he's top 5 outside shooters of all time, no matter what era you want to put him in! Right now, the other guys are shooting well from outside, too! But that could change.

LOL! You got that right! To stop the Stockton to Malone pick and roll.....they would have to bring a baseball bat.....and kill one of them!

....possibly "uncoachable?"

......and the Spurs have plenty of athletic ability to carry them past the Thunder or the Heat!

....if the Spurs can win game 3 tonight, they will also be able to rest up for the next round, too!

Shaun Livingston looks reborn. The Nets are doing well with DWill, Livingston, Joe Johnson, Tetovic and Blatche. Good small-ball line-up.

I absolutely love watching Shaun Livingston play.

Also, Teletovic is one of the best undrafted players in recent memory-- huge pickup for Crooklyn. He's been killing Miami so far this series.

Brooklyn playing with 3 big guards, a stretch-4 and a PF/C.
