Who says No?

- Kings needs a PF, but Randle/Vonleh will be gone by #8. Kanter would make a nice pairing with Cousins with his shooting.
- Jazz could use a defensive presence at SF

-------------------------------------

Then:

#5 Jazz picks Julius Randle
#6 Celtics picks Noah Vonleh
#7 Lakers pick Marcus Smart
#8 Jazz picks Aaron Gordon

Starting Lineup

Burke
Hayward/Burks
Gordon
Randle/Marvin
Favors/Gobert

Kings need point guard help. Don't think they need any more rookies. It would probably take Burke + another vet piece + take back some bad salary. Also I would take Gordon first, because he isn't slipping to eighth.

The Kings are better off taking Aaron Gordon with the 8.

Gordon is wayyy too slight to play PF in the NBA. Plus the Kings already have Gay at the SF position.

With the way DeMarcus plays (who they believe is their core player), a PF who can really stroke it like Kanter becomes a very nice fit for them.

I really do think: Kanter + #23 is a fair swap for Aaron Gordon.

For the Kings
Kanter is a proven stroke maker at the PF position and his range is increasing rapidly. The #23 can net the Kings another nice backup SF in K.J. McDaniels or even Kyle Anderson.

For the Jazz
Jazz were atrocious last year defensively. Aaron Gordon can guard 1-5 positions. Him and Favors together could really make an impact this year.
