Last time around Hayward showed that he could really contribute and effect the game and I think Coach K noticied that. I think his skill set will dominate international ball, I really hope he makes the team. I know we really overpaid for him but Hayward is a very good player!

I think Korver is tough to pass up because of his ability to play a deadly role but I doubt he'll make it.

Not enough experience in the front court. Faried, Griffin, Davis and Drummond has an average age of like 22. The Gasol Brothers will toy with them all day & all night.


(and BTW I think that's why Millsap has been called in at the last night, to see if he can provide some vet presence).

- Durant starts at the 3, George is the backup.

- Harden starts at the 2, DeRozen is the backup.


You need 1 guy who can play both the 2 and the 3 in case one of those 4 guys goes down to injury. Then you have to choose between: Hayward, Parsons, Thompson.


So Hayward has a 33.33% chance of making the team, IMO.

Apparently, Blake withdrew (along with Love). Paul Millsap has been invited, and I'd guess he makes the team.

I see Thompson or Hayward making it. Probably be Thompson because he is such a sharp shooter and could play a specified role more than Hayward could.

Thompson is the best shooter and defender of those 3. I'd pick him over Parsons and Hayward.
