What's new

Is it really that easy to get a gun in the US and kill someone?

This is also one of my favourite for a healthy option. It's one of the most traditional Thai dish called "Nam Prik Plah Too". It's popular with rural folks, rice farmers, labourers, etc.

It consists of grilled horse mackerel, steamed vegetables dipped with shrimp/chilli paste. You can have a whole plate of these and still won't get fat.

That looks pretty damn delicious.

Good choice. One of my favourite as well. The best and most authentic ones are those that you have right on the street, grilled to order using charcoal. Really hard to beat.

Seems like you know your Thai Food.

Been eating Thai food since early 90's. My parents were early adopters of that genre.

Thanks bro.

And here's one that's gonna make HeavenHarris/JazzInsider salivate - "Kao Niaw Gai Tod" - translated simply as Fried Chicken with Sticky Rice.

It's herb marinated fried chicken served with steamed sticky rice and fried shallot sprinkled on top. Served with sweet chilli sauce as the dipping sauce. It's one of Thai's favourite fast food. Can be found in any local market or food court. A plate of this is probably enough to make your heart stop momentarily.

I made pho broth today. I'm feeling pretty bad ***.

I think pho might replace beer as a hobby for me.

I thought the Brady Bill or whatever it's called prohibit this because background checks and such take a week?

Maybe back in the pre-digital age.
They did a background check. If I had already possessed a concealed carry permit, it would have taken five minutes, since the background check would have been unnecessary. Then it's just a matter of filling out the paperwork to register it.

not entirely sure I should be "LIKE"-ing this post however

can't the two hobbies coexist?

I've got pretty narrow bandwidth. But I suppose I could bump fishing instead of brewing.

Seriously though, the smell of pho broth is more intoxicating than alcohol.

Not to nitpick, but they aren't actually registering your gun. The background check is not connected to any specific gun information and they do not keep a record of who buys what gun. Not in Utah, anyway.

Yep, fortunately it's easy. This way if someone sneaks in my house threatening to kill me I can blow his head off!

No why would YOU say something stupid like that.
The 2nd Amendment wasn't written so people could go out on a killing spree fella

Jefferson once said the beauty of the 2nd Amendment is that it is not needed unless they try to take it from us. (or smth like that)
Badass founding fathers.
