What's new

Is it really that easy to get a gun in the US and kill someone?

Jefferson once said the beauty of the 2nd Amendment is that it is not needed unless they try to take it from us. (or smth like that)
Badass founding fathers.

Won't ignore this one, I fully approve of it.

Oh hi heyhey.
Come on in, we're having a fun discussion about the real meaning of the 2nd Amendment.

No why would YOU say something stupid like that.
The 2nd Amendment wasn't written so people could go out on a killing spree fella

What did I say, exactly?

Meanwhile you're busy making gun owners look bad talking about blowing people's heads off. Good job.

would you ever blow the head off of an elk in a meadow?

Of course not, you would need to keep the head intact to mount it.

Let's get back on topic...

Is freedom to have guns worth it? Let's look at homicide rates of US vs other countries.

Notwithstanding that, the Homicides rates in Texas of 9.6 per 100k of population is still wayyyyyy more than the countries listed in my post above. The closest is Norway at 2.25 and Japan is wayyyyy less at 0.5. It's really nothing to boast about IMO.
