I haven't watched Z nation, but I watched a few clips on YouTube and read about it. It doesn't sound good. It tries to insert cheesy comedy into it. That doesn't sound good. The acting looks terrible, and the costume and graphics look terrible.

It's just cheap knock off of The Walking Dead.

Lol nah. What do you get out of the walking dead? A snoozefest full of watered down dialogue. The characters act like it's the 18th century with their personalities.

Z Nations purpose is to BE cheesy and it adds to the comic factor. The acting is about on the same graph as TWD. the costumes and screenplay are not as bad as you're putting it out to be.

Besides, didn't you just start watching TWD? It is not anywhere the same as the show. The only reason you say that is it's based off zombies....

I agree, the show is excruciatingly repetitive. The only way to watch is on record so I can fast forward, edit it down to maybe twenty minutes per episode. Still too hooked on some of the characters and the storyline to give up completely. Unfortunately, it's way too popular to end the show in a creatively responsible manner, the producers will be encouraged to drag things out for at least two or three more years.
 
Twd are masters at boring the **** out of you for 40 minutes only to give you a cliffhanger at the very end of the show to make you want to watch the next episode to see what happens. That's all they've been good at.

AMC is not milking anything. The Walking Dead is insanely popular. Has a prime time slot now and casting has been done on a spinoff based out of L.A. The Walking dead will get at least 4 more seasons. IMO. The cast off 6.

I would define milking as repeating a story line over and over again without clear signs of substantial plot progress.

For example, if BB just continued to have Walt and Jesse dealing meth at the same level for 5 seasons, that would have been milking. Or if they just had them move to a new location to deal meth, milking. Or if they just had them doing the same thing with a different drug kingpin (villain), milking.
