An interesting Jazz 19-20 defense video

I never really considered Jeff Green as a small-ball 5. I mean, it looks like he played a bit of that for Washington last year. I honestly just thought of green as a SF/PF, but it seems like he was pretty good as a 5.

I'm convinced. Give us the rings now. Why wait?

With all the new pieces it'll probably take about 15-20 games to get this team running on all cylinders, but l expect a 25-30 game run reminiscent of the late 90s teams where The Jazz just steamroll everyone.

The part that sticks out is how Ed Davis can replicate a lot of Favors’ role, but because he’s clearly a bench guy, you can sit him in matchups that aren’t favorable, unlike Favors.

What’s good as a 5? The Wiz seemed to give up 125 a night last year.

He wouldn't be a starting or even second string 5, he'd be 3rd or small ball 5. Matching up with the Draymond Greens' and PJ Tuckers' of the world not the Jokics' or Embids'.
Not sure defense always start at the 5 either. You dont necessarily need a good defensive center to be considered a good defensive team.

Must have been all Jeff Greens fault, great point!! How could Jeff Green be good at anything when he played for a team like Washington Wizards last year!. They gave up 116 ppg and only scored 114 points per game. I definitely agree that all the blame go on Jeff Green. It's not like the Wizards had to deal with injuries and trades to fix team chemistry last year. Green was the most consistent player for them, but he should've single handedly led them to a better record! I mean for goodness sakes, how do you not dominate the NBA when Satoranski is your starting Point Guard a majority of the year!!!??

This is semantics. Draymond can play a lot at the 5 and the Dubs won’t suffer. If we have to march Green out for 15+ a night at the 5, we’re ****ed. Simple as that.
