Well her illegality is pretty similar to Trump's. You now, can't exactly prove enough to indict. But I guess for you that mean turn the blind eye for Hillary.

By the way, using private email servers was a very very very very gray area. Hard to distinguish from Black.
I'm not turning a blind eye to Hillary, but her private server is not even in the same realm as what Trump has done. Ill advised sure, but it wasn't done with corrupt intent imo.

Well never know because she deleted thousands (according to the FBI) of state Dept emails before turning over the curated set she gave the doj.

Point is you were in essence blaming the Russians for uncovering her email problem rather than acknowledging that maybe she should have been following state department protocol in the first place. Hard to uncover wrongdoing if there isn't any wrongdoing. Hence blaming the ones who outed rather than the one who did the bad thing.

LOL you are proving my point man. The Russian hacking had **** all to do with her email servers.

You're proving the conservatives point, if the wrongdoing is someone you support, turn a blind eye, if not, get out the guillotine.

Your bias is showing, severely.

First, Comey stated that they found no evidence of Clinton committing crimes or obstructing justice.

Second, where did Mueller state that he didn’t have enough evidence to indict? You understand that DOJ guidelines didn’t permit him to get free indictments, right?

Why are you mischaracterizing these two cases? You wouldn’t be showing your bias, would you?

No. What I'm saying is running a private email server wouldn't even rate in the top fifty scandals of the Trump era. They aren't comparable.

Neither one of you @Zombie are using facts here.

log, she didn’t delete those emails. The company that repossessed the server did. Which is the correct procedure. Standard practice for companies repossessing servers. According to the FBI, they didn’t find any obstruction of justice.

And comparing Hillary’s email server to the long history of Team Trump’s dealings with ****ing Russia, lying about them, and the obstruction since the investigation began is just plain silly. Your ridiculous partisan bias is on full display. We’re talking about Russia, our democracy, our own national security, and our rule of law.

I’m curious, what do repubs think clinton gained by using that private server? Do they think she coordinated with a sworn enemy to win an election, score business deals, and relax sanctions, like Trump did with his Russian contacts? Do they think she obstructed justice, like Team Trump did when they lied to the FBI about their Russian contacts and fired the FBI director and refused to do a personal interview with the investigators? Do they think enemies of the nation exploited social media and spread disinformation, like Team Trump and the Russians did?

And why do we think Team Trump still refuses to do anything to secure our elections? Could it be that they want the Russian help in 2020?

Without a black person on the ticket, a black voting rate drop was inevitable.

No doubt.

But the drop seen wasn’t expected. It was clearly an abnormal drop. In fact, it was the first drop in 20 years. It was one of the largest drops in any demographic in decades. What do you attribute that do?

https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-ta...as-a-record-number-of-americans-cast-ballots/

Just to compare, black turnout for 2018’s midterms was similar to the presidential turnout. Which... hurt candidates like Gillum and Abrams. However, it’s important to keep in mind that black voter turnout is typically bad in a midterm. So one could look at this both optimistically and pessimistically. Black voter turnout was at the 2016 presidential election level. This makes it the best turnout in 20 years for a midterm. Unfortunately, that was an awful turnout for a presidential election.

Had Black voters seen just a 3.5 decrease from 2012 to 2016 rather than a 7 point decrease, Hillary Clinton wins. This demographic was one of the main targets of Russian disinformation. It worked. As Russian officials stated after trump won, “Putin won tonight!” Difficult to argue with that seeing how soft he’s been on Russia.

What exactly are the top 50 scandals? Don't get me wrong, I think Trump is a sorry excuse for a human being and should have been indicted for the election interference. But I'm also one who believes enough people in high places were able to effectively sweep the Clinton email thing under the rug. I can't think of 50 things Trump has done worse than potentially using unsecure means of communication to deal with classified information then deleting thousands of what should have been pieces of evidence in a federal investigation covering up who knows what. I think Trump's Russian connection and election tampering is definitely worse. What else has he done worse than deleting evidence in a federal investigation?

Fifty might be an exaggeration. Here are some off the top of my head, that are at least as bad as Hillary having a private email server. (as Thriller pointed out, she didn't actually delete the servers, the company that repossessed them did)

His various means of profiting off the presidency, including trips to Mar A Lago and other Trump owned properties. He has continued to be involved in running the Trump organization even though he pledged not to, even while his real estate business has pursued deals over seas. I lost count of how many of his secretaries resigned after misuse of government funds. His near daily courting of white supremacists on Twitter and elsewhere. The lies. Oh man the lies. His use of an unsecured private phone (thought that was a no no). Jared Kushner's security clearance overrides. Jared Kushner's Chinese visa scheme. His campaign manager being indicted and found guilty of a multitude of criminal behavior. His hiring of Michael Flynn as Nat Sec advisor after being warned he may be acting in the interest of another country, and his myriad lies related to that scandal. The fraudulent Trump Foundation. Cozying up to Putin while undermining his own intelligence organizations findings of Russian interference in the election. Firing James Comey. Lying about why he fired James Comey after saying it was because of the Russian thing. Grab em by the *****. Paying off a mistress to stay quiet during an election. Lying about it.

Hello bubble heads. What world do you live in?

Hillary's reasons for using a private server..... on official SD business.... was to evade the FOIA law. It is illegal to do that. A crime. A serious crime. We may not ever know what all she was doing that was illegal.

It is also illegal to turn over such a server to a private company for any reason.

We know that the Chinese were being "served" information from that computer.

We know that a lot of top Washington politicos..... Corrupt Joe Biden and his son Hunter, Corrupt Mitch McConnel and his wife Elaine, and Bill and Hillary, and Sen Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi, even Harry Reid and Jon Huntsman, had all been involved in corrupt deals with the Chinese, which undermine our economy and technological position strategically.

It is simply "The Chinese Way" to smooze their way ahead in life, lie and cheat. We know the Chinese have "bought in" on our social media giants and are influencing their policies undermining freedom of speech, freedom of association.... on the so-call "private" monopolistic medias that have profound and corrupting influence on our elections.

The Russians are small-time in all this sort of thing.... but they paid Hillary and Bill millions for advantageous decisions for them. Then they were miffed when Western (George Soros and Obama) fascists displaced the Russian-compliant Ukrainian Honchos, despite the "help" of some other Western interests aka Paul Manifort. Putin was so miffed he launched his military to "re-take" his warm-water base in the Crimea.

The whole hoax over Trump's utter uninvolvement in international intrigue has been run as a tactic to misdirect public attention. We are now tired of all this stuff, and we won't investigate Hillary because Trump believes it is just divisive and counter-productive. He wants to build stuff. Infrastructure, walls.....

The Chinese have tried to smooze Trump too, and are having a hard time shifting to direct fair dealings with us.

How do you figure CNN is not left leaning? If that were true, doesnt it make it odd then that stadiums full of Republicans chant "CNN sucks"?
Are they all just a bunch of Republicans mad about sensationalism?

Cmon man? Really? This is why we cant find common ground. We cant even get on the same page with just some simple truths. Somewhere you read that CNN is sensationalism, and havent even bothered to be objective about it. This is where liberals have their faults. You are too scared to go against the grain of your mad liberal party because you know you will be attacked and ostracized by your supposed own pepes. You live in fear. You dont objectively look at things. The leftists are trying to bully the **** out of people now, and its working on a lot of people. Its this self feeding monster. You bully each other into not daring go against your own propaganda. This is why you are unable to change your mind on something.
You don't understand English. If you want to be an American, learn English.

Trump won. Now move on please. Stop projecting.
Kids, the word of the day is "projecting." NPC learned what that word meant this week and he is enamored by it, so he's going to be finding ways to use it in almost every post on jazzfanz. So again, children, please remember, the word of the day is "projecting" so if you hear someone use that word (90% chance it's gonna be NPC this week) throw your hands in the air and go crazy so that we all know you remembered what the word of the day was.

A promise by Trump not to continue in a cycle of endless wars, yet, if elected to a second term, I would fully expect a war against Iran. I believe both Bolton and Pompeo feel this is inevitable, and will continue to act to undermine Iranian leaders. Having the far right in control in Israel at this time does not help, IMHO.

Well, any open conflict with Iran would deserve its own thread, but since I called this in this thread, and since authoritarians sometimes rally support, as well as deflect attention from domestic problems, through conflicts abroad, might as well point out this little news item:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/05/politics/iran-carrier-bomber-task-force/index.html

"In a written statement released by the White House, Bolton said the US was deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and a bomber task force to the US Central Command region in the Middle East "to send a clear and unmistakable message to the Iranian regime that any attack on United States interests or on those of our allies will be met with unrelenting force."

"We will hold the Iranians accountable for attacks on American interests. And the fact that ... if those actions take place, if they do by some third-party proxy, a Shiite militia group, the Houthis or Hezbollah, we will hold the Iranian leadership directly accountable for that," said Pompeo.

Projecting isn't about cartoons, bro.

It's about how you see the world in terms of your own ideas.

CNN is about cartoons, not the reality ordinary people believe. Loony toons.

Not quite. We are talking about psychological projection. Wikipedia has a decent definition: "Psychological projection is a defense mechanism in which the human ego defends itself against unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others. For example, a person who is habitually rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude. It incorporates blame shifting."

Spot on. I think I'm the one who brought it up. So for NPC, I have new words to study: "auto erotic asphyxiation." Please study, practice, and report back.
