Can Bogey Bear Be as Good as Hayward?

Yes, His career stats aren't that far off right now.
Career stats for Hayward
30.6 MPG, 15.1 PPG, 1.0 SPG, 3.4 APG, 4.2 RPG
Career stats for Bogdanovic
27.8 MPG, 13.3 PPG, 0.6 SPG, 1.4 APG, 3.4 RPG

Hayward came in the league 2010
Bogdanovic came in the league 2014

Hayward was never as good as Jazz fanz thought and its amazing we're still talking about him after almost 3 years removed.
Bogdanovic came here on his own will.

Hayward deserved to break his leg and he will never be the same.
Bogdanovic will excel and should be celebrated.

The Utah Jazz just acquired Mike Conley, Bogdanovic, Davis, Mudiay, and Green and your bringing up Gordon Hayward and if Bogdanovic is as good as he used to be when he was here 965 days ago?? That's the topic of conversation? Yes? No? Who cares?? We JUST HAD THE BIGGEST FREE AGENCY IN JAZZ HISTORY. YOU CARE ABOUT HAYWARD???

Imagine Hayward from his last year with the jazz on this team = super team

Gobert
Green
Hayward
Mitchell
Conley

Damn... though we probably don’t have Conley if we pay Hayward what we were going to pay him, so more like...

Gobert
?
Hayward
Mitchell
?

Not sure we have green with no Conley, not sure if we still have Rubio or someone else or maybe Mitchell becomes pg. maybe we are better off that Hayward chose Boston. Who knows.

Don’t be a drama queen, sheesh.

To be honest, it's possible but unlikely. And we don't need him to be. Dude just needs to be our third option (Damn, that's nice to say without hopeshotting) when he's on the floor.

Bojan’s TS% has been 60.5% or higher each of the last three seasons.

Hayward’s best season is 59.8%. After that, his second best season is his rookie year’s 57.8%.

Not that that’s the be all, end all stat, but that is ****ing sweetass efficiency.

Dont forget the acquisition of Davis too. He will be key for us

No. C'mon now.... I've been pointing out SF's i think are superior to Hayward for years here(with extreme accuracy..).... ur talkin lotto picks, but most importantly possible max dollar guys, when its; "SF's on or near Haywards level"

Bojan doesnt really have a leg to stand on in this 'debate'...

Yes.
Oh god I hope Bogey Bear isnt going to be his nickname. Haywood had no fire or intensity to his game, Bogdonavich seems like he has a drive. Honestly I can see Bogdonavich being just as good

I know one thing for sure...I'd much rather have Bojan at his salary than Hayward at his, even if Gordo wasn't hurt. He is in no way 2x the player that Bojan is. And he's a big weanie. Bojan appears to have big *****. World of difference mentally.

This.

When it came time to sign Hayward I think we all thought "Well, he's a max player, but he's one of the worst max players." Bojan fills in nicely.

Donovan healed our hearts, but there was still a gap in the roster. Bojan fills that gap. No more needing to wonder what the Jazz would have been like if Hayward played with Mitchell.

On another note, I think a thing Jazz fans have tried to forget is that we took a step down from (healthy) Hill to Rubio (not in personality, but in shooting.) Conley is an obvious upgrade over both. Can't wait for this season!!!

Yeah, like Harrison Barnes. Genius.

By getting the TJ RT:

Though I’ll admit there are many ways to read this. If Bojan’s final Jazz season is his fourth year (or even longer) and he’s better than Hayward....

Bojan is a shooter. Hayward, when he was with us, provided athleticism and defensive switchability, both of which this squad currently lacks at the moment.

Honestly we still need another lengthy forward who can help us deal with the likes of Lebron, Kawhi and PG. Ingles(at this point of his career) and Bojan would absolutely get torched by those guys. Jeff Green has the tools but he was one of the worst defenders in the league last season for some weird reason.

Bojan is not a stopper but did well enough against LeBron in the playoffs a couple years ago. I think he’s fine in a playoff series against those guys. Perimeter guys who are quicker would worry me more... like if he is switched onto Harden. Bojan is pretty thicc so I think he’s a solid option against LeBron and Kawhi... honestly those guys eat no matter what... you just want to make sure you don’t make it easy for them. Bojan will compete and do a solid job. I doubt he gets torched.

Ingles, Bojan, Royce is a solid trio... green can likely do okay though I’ve never been impressed with his defense. I’d be okay adding one more perimeter defender but I think we are okay there for now.

Gordo was good and will create more for others... I think Bojan may be a better overall basket maker. I think Bojan is more willing to take the role we have and maximize it... I definitely wouldn’t swap them right now... if Hayward had never been hurt I probably would but we’ve never seen him play well outside of our system where he was the clear focal point.

It is an interesting thought exercise.
