Can Bogey Bear Be as Good as Hayward?

I don't know, Hayward was pretty damn good both seasons prior to his all star season too. I think Bojan's a better shooter than Hayward ever was but Hayward was probably a better scorer, passer, playmaker and defender. Either way, I'm just glad to have Bogey at $17 million a year over this version of Hayward at $33 million a year.
Wouldn’t he have been like $35-36M had he resigned?
Yeah, you're right. I was going by his Boston contract but he would've made even more if he would've re-signed with us.

I think Bojan has a better handle than Hayward, and seems a lot more fluid. For as frail as Hayward was for most of his Jazz career, he seemed to be stronger in the last two seasons here in backing his man down and fighting through contact than Bojan is. Pretty sure the Jazz don't need that in their current iteration, however.
Hayward with the ball in his hands as the clock ran down was always an adventure. I like Mitchell for that a whole lot better. Especially a Mitchell who will not be triple teamed this year.

No, but we don’t need him to be. Just need him to be a lights out shooter so Conley and Mitchell can be light years ahead of Gordo.
