Can't believe I forgot about it. Great basketball movie which was not about the actual action but what actually goes on. Gives you the idea what an insane world that is.

Some of the cool kids were talking about White Men Can’t Jump when it came out back in first grade. I petitioned by dad to take me, and somehow he reluctantly did. I believe that was the only R rated movie he took me to growing up. Unless you count the Matrix 7-8 years later. I don’t remember much about it besides a money jar, Woody Harrelson failing to dunk, and the shower sex scene. I think that was a little uncomfortable for my dad. In hindsight, I bet none of those other kids actually saw the movie.

Greg- "I'm only going to do nudity if it's tasteful!"

Producers- "What?! No!!"

Ostertag- "Whatever, I'm dropping trouser!"

Producer to the other producer, "Sigh, we used up our NBA player budget on Spider Salley. Ostertag is working for cheeseburgers. well cut it later."

Later producer. "Ugh, I'm not editing that mess, just throw in all the footage we got."
 
I love Hoosiers. One of my favorite movies of all time. Second and third on the list for me are: He Got Game and White Men Can’t Jump. Also, Netflix has a new documentary called Basketball or Nothing that I thought was really good.

Is it really? I thought it would suck so I didn’t continue after the first few minutes. Does it get better?
 
had to explain to my daughter when she was about 7 i think what i meant by "you can put a can in the oven, but that don't make it a biscuit"
 
White men can't jump. Though they should make a movie called the day the Aussies beat USA. That would be the best basketball movie ever lol
