The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Score 1 for Trump!

Bravo. Next you might want to listen to the comments that Trump has made about illegal immigration across the southern border in context. You'll probably be surprised to discover that he never said that they were all rapists. There are many more examples of Trump making statements and the mainstream media repackaging them in an apparent effort to vilify him. I am with the very large segment of Americans who are sick and tired of these tactics which have consistently been employed against the right and in favor of the left by a media who claims to have no bias.

Eh, you should read my post again.
I edited it after listen to the video you provided on my way home from work

Edit: actually not so much. I just listened to this on my drive home from work.
He very quickly tossed his little condemn the neo Nazis comment in there and glossed over it as much as possible.
What he really wanted to talk about was the left (of course) and how Jefferson and Washington were racists and how the general Lee statue coming down was a worthy thing to protest and how the protesters (the conservative right) had permits.
Typical Trump lol.

Oh brother. He clearly condemned those groups. He was being hit by questions non-stop and your going to penalize him for not recondeming those groups every time? And you apparently completely misunderstood what he was saying about Jefferson and Washington. Trump (and many others) believe that re-evaluating the behavior of historic figures by holding them to modern standards is a stupid thing to do.

Clearly condemned? I guess you and I have different definitions of clearly condemned considering he referred to those at Charlottesville as “very fine people.”

No, I totally understood what he was talking about with his comments on Jefferson and Washington.
We disagree about how he called out the Nazis. I feel like he barely touched on them being a problem (and he seemed like he was reluctant about it and it seemed like he condemned then insincerely. Like he felt like he had to). You seem to have heard him go off on them.

I guess you have a very different definition of watching the entire video. He did not say that everyone on either side of the debate are very fine people. He did say that there were bad people and good people on both sides.

I heard him condemn them in clear, unequivocal language.

I did not say he said everyone were “very fine people.” I don’t need to. Your inability to recognize his coded, cowardly language is sort of frightening. The only reason to say such a thing is because he’s either a racist himself or because he was only worried about maintaining his base. No President with any sort of sense (ie, brains) would spout such rhetoric.

Not you too KEK. Don't join the moonbats, you're too young still!

Hate to admit it but I’ll vote Trump if Biden is the other choice. Dude’s got even more screws lose than Trump.

Me too. I also heard tone, saw body language, and heard the rest of the press conference to use context and to compare amount of time he spent condemning the Nazis vs the rest of the crap he was spewing.

Like I could say I hate the jazz. It would be clear unequivocal language. However you would need to look at more than just that sentence to determine sincerity.

So, by saying both sides, he's saying the white supremacist, Nazis are "good" people. Well, maybe some are, but what they're going surely isn't good and he should've condemned them for it. It's like saying Mike Conley is a good player, so whatever he does, even if he's stinking up the court, it's okay.

You’re ****ing stupid. Moving along as usual.

Great way to engage someone in conversation.

Based on your comments it is pretty clear that we strongly disagree. I do not believe that is due to my lack of intelligence but you are entitled to your opinion.

Byrd denounced the KKK in the 1950s! Back then, the Democrats were the slightly more conservative party.

Even in trying to provide an example, you proved your contention incorrect.

Yep. The Dems lost the south when they backed Civil Rights for blacks. The racists switched parties, which makes today's Republican arguments so stupid. "Party of Lincoln" haha
