I'm gonna wait to skewer DL but if this is the case it is just awful... it would also make a little sense that we didn't get a backup 5 at the deadline because DL is more concerned about how things look for him that performance.

Because it makes them look bad... like they overpaid for a washed up pg... which is what they did. It could be the reason you outlined above... just presenting the other side.

Even dumber on their part. “Oh, I don’t know guys. This looks bad benching a washed up point guard. Let’s stick with him as a starter and continue to underperform.”

Yeah or may be it's just Quin changing his mind. Let's just hope it's a stroke of genius.
 
I've been talking alot with people at work about Conley. Y'all know I'm not a fan of his. Not one person I talked to today said he should be starting.
Now news comes that hes not being benched. He better put up huge stats leading the way to a blowout win or this will look really bad for Snyder.

That is concerning as well though... you don't do that to guys... let the toothpaste out of the tube (before a tough national tv game) and then try to put it back in.

C's a good, talented team. Tatum's been playing some real, high level basketball lately. Brown's as good as they come. They got this guy I wanted over DedEx, and a real, superb PG. Well coached guys.
Hope you're right. Our guys need it.
( PS: Hope someone harshly plays into some Gordonhole again. Dude's crap.)

1000% but they might not see it that way and they may have been pissed... don't want their key addition minimized yet.
 
The bad thing is that after tonight we play 3 of the worst teams in the league in a row, so we won't really know whether the lineup change is working or not until we start playing good teams again.
