Boy, that Doke pick might have been a bad idea…..
the idea is bad and the execution is even worse. if you wanna get a backup center, Miami's Omer Yurtseven is the guy you draft. the kid's been putting up monster numbers since he's been inserted into the starting lineup. doke on the other hand just looks completely lost and no idea where he needs to be

The ****ing Raptor announcers are acting like they've comeback against the 98 Bulls.
Probably the worst announcers I have ever heard. Well mainly just the color commentator but holy crap he was bad.

Not even. They are unbelievably bad. Almost like they're trying to be. I've seen and1 games and the announcers were better.

They are homers but so are most teams announcers, fans usually demand that unfortunately. They got way too hyped during that 3rd quarter run, but it was a very impressive quarter from FVF. But they at least know basketball, which is kind of my minimum standard for an announcer.
It was more than being homers and getting too hyped. The one guys was simply making sounds instead of words many times throughout. He would do a native american war cry. Then simply scream like a girl. There was a point where he simply kept saying the word "buckets" over and over in different tones and volume level. It was incredibly over the top and ridiculous beyond any possible description I could type.
As far as knowing basketball.... Dude was saying that van fleet in the 3rd was the most impressive 3rd quarter he had seen from any player from any team in nba history. Then his co announcer brings up how siakim scored more in a quarter before. Lol a dude currently playing and for the same team had a better quarter and dude was acting like van fleet played better than any player in history.
It was horrendous.

Geez, now I feel like I missed out on something really special. Was he drunk?

Hughes, Paschal and House stepped up tonight. If Quin was watching what we saw, the rotation guys should have a shorter leash when they start to stink. The 15 turnovers between Forrest and Butler cooked our goose tonight. A prof of math and statistics posited that a turnover in an NBA game costs a team about 1.8 points in lost scoring opportunities and more scoring opportunities for the other team. He came up with a similar but slightly smaller number for offensive rebounds given up.

Paschall's biggest problem is his rebounding...just not good enough for someone his size that plays the 4 and sometimes smallball 5. Only 3 rebounds tonight in 37 minutes. Was also a poor rebounder in GS.

He looks like fat boy barbecue to me. He needs to let the Mailman whip him into shape in the off season in the Arkansas barn.
