What Price Should the Jazz Extend THT?

I definitely think the Pistons are on the verge of making a trade out of desperation.
The Spurs are the easiest team to trade with.

The Pistons dont have anything I want. I would be shocked if they gave up a first for Sexton, and if they did it would have lotto protections on it and would it ever even convey? I wouldnt even take Ivey for Sexton in a straight up trade tbh.

Same thing with the Raptors. They just dont have great trade pieces and I doubt they would give up a first for Sexton. Would they give up Dick? He's been really really bad to start off, but I doubt they would want to give up on him yet.

The Spurs just have a lot of draft picks. Them throwing out a first for Sexton would make sense to me. Their guard play is also so awful, Sexton would be a massive upgrade for them. They have Devonte Graham's contract which makes matching salary with Sexton easy.

Do the Spurs want to improve their guard play this year? That’s the biggest question to me.

I mean, they are not going to out tank the Pistons. I can't imagine they want to be this bad.

They don’t need to out tank the Pistons they will get the same odds as them as long as they stay in the top-3. What is the incentive for them to trade a pick for Sexton and move from the 2nd pick to like the 5th or 6th pick?

Well there you go. The bottom 3 is pretty set. Maybe the Blazers/Hornets out tank someone, but there is no way the Spurs are better than bottom 5. Dont know why they wouldnt want to add some talent.

Dose Popovich really want to stain his legacy this badly? He's looking like he has fallen off hard as a coach.

This dropped all the way to page 12. Wow how THT has his fallen off the map, and coincidentally, we're winning beyond expectations in that same stretch. So what is the deal with THT? It's he injured and I just missed that fact? Could be, I haven't been watching that closely. So what's going on here?

They are saving him for the playoffs. Need his legs fresh.
