GLeague Chit

I think Bazley showed some things defensively, but he wasn't much of a shooter, scorer or passer. Knox was here for about 5 minutes.
I know Knox was just a salary match but he was a lottery pick and still fairly young. If Ainge is building something it seems like these are the guys you would take a look at. I guess they thought both fell in the non prospect category.

Kevin Knox had some good games with the Pistons, but he's been waived by 4 or 5 teams at this point. For whatever reason, he's just not what teams are looking for, even though he has some tools.

Collier got called down to the Stars. It looks like they have a couple games before the Jazz play next, I'm guessing that is why.

Was just thinking they all should go down to get in some games, practice during this lag in the NBA schedule.

Collier has 10 pts early, hitting two 3PAs, a jumper, and a drive to the rim. He looks comfortable in the Gleague so far and is 4/4.
Cody's missed his first few looks, a couple 3s and a floater coming down the lane in his first short stint.

Cody 2-14 tonight. Oscar had 23 rebounds and Babacar Sane had 22 points 8 boards. Collier looked like the 2nd coming of Jason Preston at this level.

OK so Collier can hit threes now. Sweet. Now he has a complete game. It's amazing he only shot one FT.

Tshiebwe is fun to watch.

Sane should sign in Europe or Asia - he could make bank and be a star over there.

it was inevitable that a “just the g league” “defense is trash” comments would come. “Practice reps” is a new one though. And I don’t necessarily disagree, but what does that say about the 10th overrall pick and his 2-14 performance? Yikes.

JHS is one of the worst players taken in the first round in the last decade and managed 22/5/5 on elite efficiency in the G-League as a rookie.

So yes, this is more alarming for Cody than inspiring from Isaiah.

But hopefully Collier does get a bit more confidence from this.

JHS is not one of hte worst picks in the last decade. He's a PG who isnt allowed to play his position with the main team and has had back surgery. He's better than Cody.
