I sat on a warm toilet seat just yesterday and it really made me wonder why anyone would ever buy a heated toilet seat. It would always just make me feel like some 300lb slob had just destroyed that toilet seconds before I sat down.

I am sorry to hear about that. I was on the phone with my cousin literally as she chose to end her life. It was part of what prompted my hiatus from jazz fanz years ago and has taken me years to be able to process and discuss it. I know they feel it is better for those they leave behind, and for some people they just cannot see other options. But the pain and holes it leaves behind are long-lasting and devastating. Hope you are doing well through it my friend. Take care.

It's funny how he has become kind of a punchline in the world of entertainment but as soon as you get someone to actually sit down and listen to his music they are blown away by the quality and depth of it. For people who have only heard "hound dog" they just have no perception of the greatness of the man and what he accomplished. The Elvis biopic that came out a few years ago is a heartbreakingly accurate representation of his life.
