Orlando-New Jersey-Utah Proposed three team deal

Is it a requirement to be a d-bag to stick around on this site? I swear it's like feeding piranhas when somebody posts something new. Dudes must just lurk on this website waiting to "teach a lesson" to some unsuspecting poster. As for the trade idea, I like getting Reddick and Anderson, I...

    Ty Corbin is...

Corbin has done an admirable job of keeping the team competitive, but overall mediocre. The problem with what has happened this year is that there have been no chances taken to stray from that mediocrity, either for good or bad. I'm not one to blame this all on Corbin, but as a fan, if I know...

    Corbin losing the team?

I think he's going to have some major trouble keeping this team motivated after the trade deadline. We've already heard the rumblings, Raja pissed that he sat out the 4th quarter in favor of Burks seems to be the tip of the iceberg. KOC needs to trade either Al or Millsap. If he doesn't, Corbin...

Does anyone think Kanter and/or Favors could lead a team to the playoffs?

Neither of them have an outside shot, both are very unpolished post players, and they don't seem to have a strong competitive fire. Two of those three things can develop with time, but where are they going to get that fire from? Burks has that fire, its evident every time he's on the floor...

Come in this thread and flame on! (Bad trade idea)

I knew this would be an unpopular post, but don't mistake me for a Jimmer fan. Jimmer will not amount to anything in this league. The trade was proposed as a way for us to get playing time for our young bigs. Earlier today on KFAN I heard a couple of the hosts talking about it being irrelevant...

Come in this thread and flame on! (Bad trade idea)

Okay, so now that I have the disclaimer out of the way, I would like the Jazz to make this trade: https://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7rmfkpe Before everyone gets up in arms, this is not a trade to bring Jimmer to the Jazz. I mean, it is, but that's not the motivation behind...

    Could Memo return next year?

As hard as it is to see him playing for NJ, he doesn't look all that good and I'm not sure we want him back. It won't do anything for the logjam we just opened up a little bit.

Serious question: Why are people rooting for the Jazz to win this year?

Didn't the Clippers have a few decades of top 10 picks? How'd that work out for them, this year aside.

    To all the spell checkers

wow... that was either an alcohol induced flame out, or dude has been crafting this message carefully, waiting for the right time to pounce. Crazy.

    We Are Horrible

I think the most glaring problem for the team is the lack of any kind of cohesiveness. It just looks like a cobbled together mess; they don't seem to be communicating, there is no leadership, and many of the parts seem to be forced into a role that doesn't suit them. If KOC and Corbin don't just...

Earl Watson is better at playing basketball than Devin Harris

Not necessarily, but I'm sure we could have traded down 3 or 4 spots, picked up some assets, and had our pick of any of the three. What I am sure of is that we have no business having another big prospect on our team. Kanter may turn out to be great, but it will be in three years of ugly...

Earl Watson is better at playing basketball than Devin Harris

I was never one to be on the Jimmer hype train, but if he pans out at all, he would have really fit the needs of this team. Or Kemba, or Knight. We should have drafted a PG.

Possibly the most mind blowing sarcastic critique of a thread I've ever seen. Definitely deserves its own post.

Deron Williams agress with Besiktas (turkish team )Derom Williams to play in Turkey during lockout

If he's willing to play in Turkey, maybe DWill wouldn't have minded staying in Utah. I can't imagine there's much more going on in Turkey to interest Deron than in Utah.

Just for fun who would the jazz sign...

But what if in this scenario, the Jazz were guaranteed to win an NBA championship? I would love to have our only championship be from a scrub league. For some reason the idea has a certain appeal.

    Time to trade millsap

I would only be okay trading Millsap if Okur is coming back healthy. Otherwise, all of our bigs would need the ball in the low post to be effective and we would have some stagnation in the middle. Millsap is able to hit the 15-18 foot jumper reliably, so he provides better spacing. I don't know...

    Why not Leonard?!?!

He would have been a legitimate 3, puts out an incredible effort, and would be a great addition on the wing with Hayward. It seems to me like the Jazz are incapable of making adjustments on the fly. With Leonard dropping so far, it seems ludicrous to me that we took a smaller, less defensive...
