0 to 14 in 4 minutes - amazing timelapse video made by a father of his daughter

man, almost shed the tear :o... kept seeing and thinking about my daughters while watching it...

Reminds me, has no one else on this board seen the movie Boyhood? It came out earlier this year, and did much the same thing as this YouTube video. The director cast a kid at six years old, and then they got the film crew together for a few weeks once a year for twelve years to shoot the film, so you see the boy grow up over the course of the movie.

Stars Patricia Arquette and Ethan Hawke. The critics raved about it. I enjoyed it quite a bit myself, although my one complaint is that the characters surrounding the boy seem more interesting than he himself is. But it definitely feels more true-to-life than 99% of movies manage to achieve.

Did anyone else notice that she absolute never stopped talking all the way through?

Well, I take that back, there were a few coy little silent smiles by about 12, and more later on. I have two daughters age 11 getting on to 12. One is so quiet you never know where she is unless you go looking for her, and she's always either reading or writing a book. Can't believe she says she's "writing a book" and it looks like her imagination and her story telling really go to that extent. Sometimes, when I take her on the long drive to the ranch, she will occupy the time by reading her book out loud to me.

The other one is always where ever I am with a cheesy smile, and talking like this girl does.
