Here's the list. Al maybe cutting 15 straight a year, but he's not on this one yet. He needs time.

Oh, I just figured it out. They are counting the full amount of current contracts. That is why CP3 isn't on the list, because he hasn't signed a long term deal like Dwill has.

Durant, who is about to turn 24 in September has already made more than the Mailman, who played until he was like 40. The players' Union has done a good job for them!

Edit: I just saw Cy's post, so this makes it a little better.

I would love for there to be a 'basketball association' where there was a cap and where salaries were kept under reasonable numbers, but unfortunately the best players will always go to where the pay is the highest, and as long as owners are willing to throw out 15-20 million dollar contracts that should really be going to award winning scientists, the best players will be in the nba. (and we pay the price in ticket prices)

Jordan #87!

yeah, the economics have changed a little bit since the early to mid 90s.

which is why you see guys like deron and carlos boozer making 50% more than karl top-3-at-his-position-second-all-time-leading-scorer-played-for-two-decades malone. seems crazy.
